New York Toy Fair: Barbra is Totally Screwed
Besides making fabulously dressed classic Battlestar Galactica figures, Amok Time is also making a bevy of movie monsters from classic B-movies of the ’50s and roundabouts. This includes a figure of Rondo Hatton as The Brute Man, from the movie The Brute Man, which I only know of because of my obsession with MST3K. On the more well-known side of things include these 12-inch figures of the stars of George Romero’s Night of the Living Dead:
It includes Duane Jones as Ben, the cemetery zombie (check out that head sculpt!) who’s coming to get Barbra, and big whiner Barbra. But that’s not all! Because Amok Time also has the rights to make action figures of Day of the Dead, starting with zombies Bud (July) and Dr. Tongue (September).
And although she’s not a zombie, I doubt this lovely lady would do Barbra any favors either.
