Ultraviolet Anime Announced, Proving There Either Is No God, or He Hates Us

I saw Ultraviolet on opening day, as a fan of Milla Jovovich in ridiculous outfits, as well as entertainingly dumb yet stylish action flicks. When I exited the theater 90 minutes later, sobbing, stupider and my body covered in the vile fecal matter sprayed by the film, I was willing to admit that Ultraviolet was too dumb to be entertaining, the action sequences were dumb, and that the director was almost certainly brain-dead for allowing such an abomination to come to pass. And I assumed I was done with it.

But no, as there's going to be an Ultraviolet anime movie, subtitled Code 044. I hate everyone involved in this, including the generally excellent Studio Madhouse. I curse the heavens for allowing such a thing to happen, but clearly there's no one up there who cares.
