Between Evil Dead 4 and the Tr2n footage, i'm in a pretty good mood. So although I was about to heap praise all over the Wolverine solo movie, unfortunately, I saw Ryan Reynolds as Deadpool—maskless, red-leather-wearing Deadpool—and just can't muster the energy for compliments anymore. The Blob and Gambit look fine, I guess. Liev Shriever looks nothing like Sabretooth, but whatever. But Deadpool—damn. He looks so awful I just can't think about anything else about the movie. Oh, Part I of the trailer is above, and Part II is below—sorry for the inconvenience, but this one was bigger and slightly better quality than the YouTube version.

Posted 07/28/2008 at 12:36:46 PMI'm cool with her getting her mutation early, or it being someone else, I just wonder how Emma would factor into the action and where she is in her life. Her story would likely be totally different.
And Gambit is basically a supermodel in the comics. He's a handsome Cajun thief who likes striking poses -- he's pretty much a character in a Harlequin romance. I have mixed feelings about him, but I'm excited to see how they portray him on screen. Sorry if he's not rugged enough for you, all you Gambit-lovers.

Looked more like maskless, red-dry-fit-workout-gear-wearing pre-Deadpool Wade Wilson, if you ask me. I mean, c'mon, that is so not a red leather sleeveless t-shirt. ;).

They better hamburger help his ass right quick and get him in the full body gear and black and red mask 5 minutes into his appearance.
