The first video of Tatsunoko Vs. Capcom has crawled its way onto the internet—Tatsunoko being the old-school anime studio responsible for Battle of the Planets/Gatchaman, among others—and despite the fact that the video quality sucks, the game looks awesome. In fact, it's got 3-D characters, which I didn't realize, and I'll be damned if it doesn't look better than the footage I've seen from Street Fighter IV. Like, a lot. Seriously, compare for yourself—the character models for SF4 look like any generic 3-D fighter, but TvC have some sort of semi-cel-shading going on which makes 'em look really pretty, maybe a little cartoony—but in a wholly appropriate way. Weird.

AAAAAHHHHH! Casshern fighting Ryu! Chun Li fighting the dude from G-Force! THAT! IS! AWESOME!
And I know nothing about Gold Lightan except that he's a giant robot who turns into a lighter, and that is quite possibly the coolest thing ever.
