Terrible movie director Rob Cohen (Stealth) wants to re-make The Monster Squad. Happily, he's only going to produce, so there's only so much damage he can do, but it's like when musicians cover Beatles songs. You're not likely to improve upon the original, so why bother? (Via /Film)

Blasphemy! The Monster Squad is hallowed celluloid. I'd much rather see a sequel with the original cast and director, minus, I assume, Scary German Guy.
