Farewell, Sweet Shogun of Harlem

Posted at 9:59 AM Aug 22, 2008

Tragedy! Sho'Nuff, the shogun of Harlem—and better known to his friends as actor Julius Carry—passed away recently at the age of 56. This has created a major vacuum in the power structure of the Harlem kung fu underworld, and more importantly, a hole in all of our hearts which can never be filled, as no one will ever be that simultaneously mean, bad and pretty again. Bruce Leroy is wanted for questioning. (Via /Film)

I would have preferred a Brisco County reference personally, but it is truly sad.

I always hoped he would some day play Bishop in an X-Men movie...

So sad.

Perhaps he can obtain "The Glow" in heaven.

He was in "Enter the Dragon" with Bruce Lee. You can catch him in the Dojo. Shameful I can recall such useless information.

How often does someone say this at Topless Robot? I better show my wife this.

(She loves The Last Dragon.)
