Not actual evil, mind you. In fact, they've pretty damn good to the nerdy adult collector. Much like with this Justice League Unlimited 4-pack of Gotham villains, including an awesome Scarecrow (check out the noose around his neck), a new and improved Harley Quinn figure, the Clock King (who I thought was Lex Luthor until I noticed he had glasses) and finally, Bane, who no one likes, but whatever. This set will be available on Mattel's MattyCollector.com site for $30 in 2009. (Via ToyNewsI)

I like Bane! Second favorite Bat-villain after Ra's al Ghul. I guess I just like the master-strategist villains more than the others.

Posted 08/08/2008 at 09:22:23 AMWell those look awesome. A must have for a BTAS dork like myself.
And for the record I hate Bane. A "mexican wrestler" bad guy with a super serum was always a bit lame for me
.
And Clock King is a bit goofy too. But it's nice to have figures of the 3rd-raters.
On the other hand, that updated Scarecrow from the redesign is excellent.
Posted 08/08/2008 at 09:32:07 AMAwesome. I was afraid they were going to stop making JLU figures. The nearest Target hasn't had any new ones in a year.
Posted 08/08/2008 at 11:42:33 AMThe Harley figure is BARELY removed from the Batman: Animated Series line.... She looks almost identical....
Posted 08/08/2008 at 04:26:21 PMLove the Harley and Scarcrow figures. Bane, as lame as he is and IGN comics strange fascination with him is understandable. Clock King is the odd man out here, and just a strange choice.
Posted 08/08/2008 at 11:54:17 PMI'm having a hard time remembering what Bane's like in the comics. But I really enjoyed his portrayal in BTAS, where he had brains to back up his muscle.
Posted 08/10/2008 at 12:23:03 PMHe had supposedly had brains in the comics, but he never seemed to do anything all that smart. Sort of like the Kingpin supposedly has "muscle" instead of fat.
