John McCain’s Secret Life Exposed
Brave and true TR reader Chuck passed me this incredible discovery from Random Happenstance, namely that John McCain is Golden Age Green Lantern Alan Scott, at least the version drawn by Alex Ross in Kingdom Come. It makes sense; a Republican superhero would certainly wear a giant suit of armor, while leaving the tights to the Democrats. In case you were wondering, Green Lantern was created in 1940, which means the 72-year-old McCain is in fact older than him, too.
