Star Trek: The Love Generation

Posted at 9:32 AM Sep 02, 2008

...and welcome back! I hope you guys had an excellent holiday weekend, and followed ol' Christopher Lee's advice about getting sauced. Let me ease you back into the abbreviated work week with this simply fabulous Star Trek: TNG/The Love Boat mash-up, which should bring a smile to the most hung-over faces. Look how happy the Gorn looks to be a guest star! (Via Gorilla Mask)

That was done better fifteen years ago on SNL.

Awesome, but it disturbs me to think of how much time the person who made it must have spent looking for just the right clips of each ST:TNG (as the kids say) character to use. Unless he or she already knew exactly which ones to use out of 7 seasons of episodes, which would be even more disturbing.

I forgot all about that SNL sketch -- as well as the older one, with Cap'n Kirk's restaurant Enterprise. But I like this one better, because it promises a much better show than the earlier ones (Leeloo! He-Man!), then ends before it can disappoint us, like most SNL sketches.

Yargghh! Is there anyway to make this stop playing every time I go to the homepage? Make it stop!
