If you're any kind of shlock movie fan, you need to watch the above trailer without any delay. The movie is JCVD, due out November 7th, and I assure that both the praise and the premise—Jean-Clause Van Damme, playing himself, three-quarters-washed up—is all totally real. I had no idea Van Damme had the cognizance, let alone the willingness, to make fun of his B-list, direct-to-DVD status, and I will happily give him props for that. I'm very much looking forward to this one. (Via /Film)

I hope this is as awesome as it seems. I remember seeing the little teaser they put out where Van Damme breaks into the casting session for the movie. Hilarious and wonderful. I hear it's only getting rave reviews. I can't wait for some more VAN DAMAGE!

Van Damme! that looks awesome! Love the Stephen Segal bit. Definately going to see this one. Wait, we're talking about Jeane Claude Van Damme, right? Weird....

I'm a huge fan of Van Damme, and I have been eagerly awaiting this movie. There are more trailers for JCVD on YouTube, including the hilarious teaser with the casting call. Also, this movie has been getting very positive reviews on the festival circuit.
