To Insanity and Beyond

I just got some good news regarding a former employer of mind, so I've been busy whooping it up, dancing, and celebrating with shots (skipping breakfast is really going to bit me on the ass). So rather than give you some re-tread of news from a few days ago I missed—like that the 300 prequel/sequel (which has to be titled 301) will be based on the battle seen at the tail end of the movie, and will be scripted as soon as Frank Miller does the graphic novel—instead you get this Toy Story 2/Dark Knight trailer mash-up. Enjoy, and I'll be back with a punishing Fan Fiction Friday shortly.

In 1986 DC Comics released the first issue of Batman: The Dark Knight Returns, a four-issue mini-series printed in the new prestige format, and written and drawn by Miller, with colors by Lynn Varley and inks by Klaus Janson. Miller had also drawn the covers for the first twelve issues of First Comics English language reprints of Kazuo Koike and Goseki Kojima's Lone Wolf and Cub.

That is awesome. I now have an overwhelming desire to see a full-length re-enactment of The Dark Knight with the Toy Story characters.
