Twilight HD Exclusive Trailer
The trailer for the Twilight movie debuted last night—caution: may induce vomiting. If I had a teenage daughter, I'd rather her be a stripper than a Twilight fan. At least she'd never have to hear any of her customers say tripe like "You are my life now."

Reminds me of buffy, except you know, a girl that kicks ass and kills vampires for a living.
Posted 10/10/2008 at 09:19:52 AMSo...HD here stands for Highly Douchey?
Posted 10/10/2008 at 10:55:00 AMActually I am sure that many strippers get told that they are the guys life now.
But anything would be better then these books/movies
Posted 10/10/2008 at 11:23:32 AM*seethes* I can't even begin to describe my hatred for these books (and yes I read a few of them and am aware of the plotline of the others, so it's not unfounded.) So I suppose that translates in to a hatred for these movies. But if somehow the movies can match the attrocities that are the books...I don't know whether to applaud the accomplishment or just cry in a corner...
Posted 10/10/2008 at 12:12:49 PMALSO:
How come this can get a rush movie deal and we can't even get a decent version of Good Omens off the ground :(?
Posted 10/10/2008 at 12:14:15 PMisn't Good Omens comparatively unfilmable? I mean, it would cost hundreds of millions of dollars, whereas all they had to do here was lock a British kid in a dark room for a couple of months, and voila.
I'd actually love to see a movie of American Gods, or a decent, big-budget, New York-based version of Neverwhere.
Posted 10/10/2008 at 03:29:19 PMReminds me of buffy, except you know, a girl that kicks ass and kills vampires for a living.
You mean this is actually an improvement? ;)
Posted 10/10/2008 at 04:36:07 PMNot sure what is worse, the dialog, the acting or the fact that she says you can't go out into sunlight, then shows him playing baseball in the daytime,
Where are they Silent Hill where there is no sun?
Posted 10/10/2008 at 04:36:18 PMI have a friend, an 18 year-old male, who reads these books. I'm not sure what to do about it - I don't feel right letting a friend do this to himself...
Posted 10/10/2008 at 04:53:04 PM@ Zach Oat
Neil and Terry said a few years ago they could do it on about $80 million if they had complete control over it...rumour has it Neil Gaiman might try for it after Caroline :o! Since he's had a string of success lately with Hollywood. (Robert Sean Leonard would make a good Aziraphale methinks...)
Anyway, I'll just go sob in a corner until this Twilight thing passes T_T
Posted 10/10/2008 at 10:25:38 PMThe twilight saga is a great series, but you're right about the movie looking horrible. Trust me. The books are a lot better.
Posted 10/12/2008 at 10:15:48 PMI pray the person above me is joking.
