• The twilight saga is a great series, but you're right about the movie looking horrible. Trust me. The books are a lot better.

• @ Zach Oat Neil and Terry said a few years ago they could do it on about $80 million if they had complete control over it...rumour has it Neil Gaiman might try for it after Caroline :o! Since he's had a string of success lately with Hollywood. (Robert Sean Leonard would make a good Aziraphale methinks...) Anyway, I'll just go sob in a corner until this Twilight thing passes T_T

• I have a friend, an 18 year-old male, who reads these books. I'm not sure what to do about it - I don't feel right letting a friend do this to himself...

• Not sure what is worse, the dialog, the acting or the fact that she says you can't go out into sunlight, then shows him playing baseball in the daytime, Where are they Silent Hill where there is no sun?

• isn't Good Omens comparatively unfilmable? I mean, it would cost hundreds of millions of dollars, whereas all they had to do here was lock a British kid in a dark room for a couple of months, and voila. I'd actually love to see a movie of American Gods, or a decent, big-budget, New York-based version of Neverwhere.

• ALSO: How come this can get a rush movie deal and we can't even get a decent version of Good Omens off the ground :(?

• *seethes* I can't even begin to describe my hatred for these books (and yes I read a few of them and am aware of the plotline of the others, so it's not unfounded.) So I suppose that translates in to a hatred for these movies. But if somehow the movies can match the attrocities that are the books...I don't know whether to applaud the accomplishment or just cry in a corner...

• Actually I am sure that many strippers get told that they are the guys life now. But anything would be better then these books/movies
