Viennese Bastards Make World's Largest Lego Tower

Why are they bastards? Two reasons. One—about a week ago, some English guy made the world's tallest Lego tower at 96.1 feet. These Viennese jerks—who were building the tower for some children's festival made theirs yesterday, at 96.7 feet—yes, half a foot. They are dicks.

The second reason—who the fuck makes decides to stop making their Lego tower at 96 feet? What's stopping you from going to 100? I hoped it was just that wacky Metric system those foreigners use, but the height of their tower in meters was 29.48, which is similarly abyssmally close to 30. My OCD is totally freaking out here. I may have to catch a flight to Vienna just to round this stupid thing up. Grr! (Via Geekologie)

Obviously they ran out of pieces and didn't want to switch to Duplo blocks to get disqualified.

If they'd used Duplo blocks from the beginning, they could have circled the globe by now.

I beta tested K'nex when I was little. I wonder if anything cool has been done with them?
