Deadpool's costume just keeps reminding me of that terribly Street Fighter movie from the 90's. Shudder.

Lots of Highlanderisms in this movie. I think going as far as telling the story of Little Logan and the death of his parents, or whatever that was, may be to much. As for the bike-car-chopper stunt, I really expect Gavin Hood can do better than just throw in some overstylized slow-motion. It instantly became shit around 1999, as soon as The Matrix left the theaters.

That's the kind of outfit elderly Republicans assume gay men wear all the time, and yet, an actual gay man wouldn't be caught dead in one.

To be serious though, I'm more than a little disappointed that Deadpool appears to be the only character in the movie without some kind of action-shot in this trailer. Hopefully they're just saving the best for last...

and i am no expert on the subject of wolverine but i'm pretty sure he volunteered for the program without them telling him the whole story.

and for a gambit comment - am i the only one that thinks it strange that the reason they didn't bring gambit into the other x-men movies was becasue he was too similar to wolverine...but then turn around and bring bring gambit into the wolverine movie...that doesn't make sense to me

and by similar they mean in that antihero personality way, not the claw or blow up stuff kind of way

I loved this trailer so much. And not simply because I look like this.

The fact that, supposedly, Wolverine rescues Baby Storm, Baby Cyclops and Miss Teen White Queen has me concerned about continuity, but then so does the Sabretooth issue, and Liev Schreiber has me all kinds of giddy. An actor! Playing Sabretooth!

I think it looks pretty damn dope, personally. I didn't really care for ANY of the X-Men flicks, but this one is doing a body good so far.

Oh! Oh! Oh! Deadpool!*squees* Of all the characters he's the one I want to see jacked up the least. Course...I'm probably the only chick willing to shell out $80 for a DP action figure. *blushes* Little worried about the lack of mask & sleeves there. =(

I'm really excited about this one...the last 3 X-men movies left a bad taste in my mouth. =( So far I'm just thanking my lucky stars Uwe Boll didn't get his grubby, little fingers on it. *shudders*

As far as Gambit goes... I don't know about the rest of you, but I'm relieved he's in a purple shirt. I'll never forget the horror I faced when I realized the comic book character I once had a crush on spoke in the 3rd person. Lets not forget the pink spandex either. =/

First of all, Gambit hasn't been a good character ever. I can never understand his dumb accent and he hasn't even been on the X-Men team for a long time.

Hmmmm.... I had (have) high hopes for the movie, but I see a huge potential for epic failure along the lines of "Daredevil" there. Hope I'm wrong...

(1)Gambit is Cajun, you nits. Are you from this country? Have you never heard Cajuns talk? (2)Gambit is a badass character, though not nearly as old a one as Beast, Cyclops, Angel, Marvel Girl (later to be Phoenix/Jean Grey), Iceman, Wolverine, Nightcrawler, Banshee, Storm, etc. (3)Deadpool should, probably more than anyone, have a true-to-the-comics costume. (4)How about sticking to the comics/movies related topics and ditching the CNN-brainwashed, Kool-Ade drinker, "hope & change" sheeple, Republican bashing, there, brain trust. (5)If you've already made up your mind to hate this movie & start blowing snotbubbles about it, how about keeping it to yourself & not trying to ruin it for the rest of us, there, Siskel & Ebert, Jr.? (6)Daredevil SUCKED epically. Ben Asslick shouldn't be allowed EVER to be in another movie since then, & shouldn't have been cast in it in the first place. Bullseye's movie characterization stunk on ice, too. We needn't even bring up the Catwoman aberration, or the smarmy, screw-the-fans,retarded Batman movies predating Batman Begins, or Ang Lee's psychobabble-infused, cinematic raping of the Hulk.

The fact that Sammy the Fishboy is in it makes up for everything FOX has done ever.
