The Hulk vs. Wolverine section was awesome. It's always fun to watch Wolverine shit his pants when the Hulk has that familiar twinkle of rage in his eye and yells "Hulk Smash Little Man!" Oh how it would suck to be Wolverine. Good movie.

i just recently saw _gutterballs_ at a friend's house...at the end of it all, i was in a quandary. academically, i knew i should have been disturbed and offended beyond all capacity for reason. on every other level though, i was incredibly entertained at just how batshit insane and awesome the whole thing was.

recommended? highly! but be forewarned--you may want to consider checking your moral compass at the door (otherwise, that bitch's gonna be BROKE).

(oh yeah, and make sure you get the most unrated director's cut version you can, for maximum awesome)

I remember seeing the pilot for MANTIS, then the regular series. The pilot was ultra-left wing; conservative self made black businessman gets shot in the back by a white cop. Then he immerses himself in extensive tribal decor, his assistants dressing in African garb before aiding him in the preparation of his nightly excursions. I would not have minded some of that, but the part where the white boss intimidates the young black female employee early on really suggested the producers/directors/writers, etc. were just pandering.

Sadly, the television series abandoned not just all of the above-which was not necessary-but they also did a 180. He got a white kid sidekick, his buddy was a white guy. I'm surprised they did not give MANTIS a white girlfriend, too.

And the thing that pissed me off the most? Part of what made MANTIS look so cool was he wore a suit and trench coat over his armor. I thought he looked damn cool.

I really wish they made Hulk vs wolverine longer and cut hulk vs thor all together. Anyone else feel like that?

i saw the batman and robin blu-ray today at asda (uk walmart but more shit) and i geniunely burst out laughing when i saw that they were charging £27 (about $41) for it

Well, the run time is listed as 78 minutes, so you figure it out.

Each of the parts of the Hulk Vs is about half and hour.
I haven't watched the vs Thor part yet. I REALLY enjoyed the vs Wolverine part. I loved the fact that we get to see an animated Wolverine ACTUALLY USE HIS CLAWS for fighting other than disabling people's guns or cutting down/through stuff.

I also loved Deadpool in the vs. Wolverine part. Stick around after the credits. It's worth a chuckle.

Never heard of The Invaders. Child, you must get out more often.

okay. here are 5 things that make _gutterballs_ awesome:

5) a psycho killer whose idea of a terrifying visage...is wearing a bowling bag on his head. with eyeholes, naturally.

4) a guy who gets the front of his skull taken off by a ball-waxing machine...a machine which, for the entire time & no reason, laughs and curses at the victim in a vocoder voice.

3) a soundtrack composed of all canadian bands. nuthin like horrific murder to the dulcet strains...of loverboy.

2) a bowling ball counter employee sporting a full 70's 'stache, a blue jumpsuit, and incredible lines like: "boy, you're lucky that buffalo jumped the fence when it did, otherwise I'DA been your daddy!"

1) the fact that, there are even MORE awesome events that happen that any of the things i've listed above.

I'll have to order the Secret Policeman's Balls dvd...probably Hulk vs. also. Where would I be without these dvd release updates, seriously...I can never remember when anything is coming out :p

I picked up Hulk Vs. and was pleased as all hell. There is a certain care in the way Wolverine is animated, he moves so fluid. Particular gory bits? I'd have to got with my favorite when Wolverine cuts Deadpool's arm into sections and Deadpool spends the next few minutes trying to put it back together. Hulk Vs. Thor is great if you love to see the Asgardians get the mead kicked out of them but the Wolverine was section was much better.

In its infinite wisdom, Fox scheduled MANTIS for Fridays at 9:00PM (Eastern), right opposite horrifying, unbearable ratings juggernaut "Family Matters". As depressing as this was, it did lead to an amazingly cool promo spot, apparently aired only once: We see a skinny black kid with oversized glasses laughing nasally and twitching spastically--an obvious stand-in for Urkel. A deep-voiced announcer says: "This is the disease": Suddenly the kid is struck by some kind of high-tech looking projectile---and EXPLODES! The camera does a swish-pan to Our Hero as the announcer continues: "MANTIS is the cure!" I tell you, if I thought for a second that that promo was on the DVD, I would buy it in a heartbeat....

Deadpool Deadpool DEADPOOL! He makes the Hulk vs. Wolverine flick. I can't wait til there is just a Deadpool movie.

Each part of the Hulk vs. thing is about 40 minutes long, the thor one sucks, Wolverine one is awesome mainly because of Deadpool being the best thing ever.

Gutterballs was quite a movie, I suppose I'll watch anything where a girl gets raped by a bowling pin. And strangely enough, I saw it a few months ago.
