G.I. Joe's New Recruit Has Skills, Issues

This Robot Chicken sketch starts slow, but make sure you watch until the end. For Fumbles' sake, if nothing else. Also, that totally sounds like Flint's original voice actor to me. (Via ToyNewsI)

Wow, I've actually only started following Robot Chicken a few weeks ago, but this is now my favorite sketch.
Posted 01/13/2009 at 12:27:16 PMI haven't watch RC in a long time, but I'm glad to see they still occasionally do a good skit. I have total respect for them doing this, as it's not a simple process.
Also, I always wondered why neither side ever employed a sniper.
Posted 01/13/2009 at 12:38:09 PMFumbles sounds like Breckin Meyer
Posted 01/13/2009 at 01:00:22 PMMy favorite RC sketch is still Little Hitler, but this probably makes my top five.
Posted 01/13/2009 at 01:07:01 PMWow. Pretty damn awesome.
Posted 01/13/2009 at 01:09:08 PMI watched this the other night, and immediately it became my favorite Robot Chicken sketch. Awesome.

Well, I don't know about Cobra, but G.I. Joe had at least one: Low-Light. Sure, his designated specialty was "night spotter", but given his long-barreled rifle with big honkin' telescopic sight and bipod, reinforced shooting patch on his right shoulder and general lack of any specialized spotting equipment, it was pretty clear that "spotting" for him was just a preliminary to putting a bullet between someone's eyes.
Of course, later on, when the line was revived after the turn of the century, they got an "official" sniper code-named Crosshairs, plus Barrel Roll, and two female snipers, Mayday (think she was a sniper, at least) and Shooter, appeared in the Devils Due comics, plus Oktober Guard sniping specialist Daina defected to the West and eventually ended up on the Joe team.
So, counting the comics, that makes a total of six G.I. Joe snipers, three male and three female.
Posted 01/13/2009 at 01:20:05 PMYeah, Low-Light learned to shoot by getting lost in the woods and having to kill to survive. He's a sniper.
Surprisingly, Sci-Fi was also a sniper. You'd think his role as "laser trooper" would be redundant, since they all had lasers, but he had a REAL laser, one that could shoot 2.5 miles, and he had to be rock-steady to hit the target. Check out his filecard.
Posted 01/13/2009 at 01:45:53 PMThe eagle getting sniped is what did it for me. Holy crap.
Posted 01/14/2009 at 07:12:12 AMWhat did it for me was
"KILL ME TOO!!!"
"No, no you live with it"
It's so deliciously evil. I love it. Instantaniously my fave sketch.
Posted 01/14/2009 at 06:16:28 PMWow this make my nickname (Furious Fumbles) more awesome!
