High Kick Girl Kicks Slightly Higher

FilmDrunk has this new, longer trailer for the modern masterpiece High Kick Girl, and I'm actually getting a little worried. as you can see, there will be boys kicking people, and not just girls. I guess I can handle that, although I don't particularly like it. I prefer my kickers to solely be Japanese high school girls, what can I say?
However, this trailer has gotten my hopes up the film will be nothing but 90 minutes of people kicking each other. If there ends up being any dialogue whatsoever, I will be very disappointed. I don't need to know why she's kicking people. I just want to watch them get kicked.

Posted 01/14/2009 at 12:03:03 PMUh, this is a movie, right? Because the soundtrack makes it look like a 90210-esque high school drama. And now all I can think about is the cast of 90210 kicking each other in the face. Awesome.
Also, someone should tell the director that showing fake fights in slow-motion makes them look even more fake, and obviously rehearsed. Although that girl doing a backflip and kicking the guy in the head looked totally real and totally painful.
Posted 01/14/2009 at 12:30:42 PMThose fight scenes are sad. Still better then the Batman fight scenes, which end up being: Dark Object, Dark Object, "was that a knee", something really fast, lots of motion, and pull back and show Batman.
