The only sections of CHUD I've ever read are my buddy Jon Abrams' awesome columns, and the long-gone reviews of ToyFare magazine that used to infuriate me every month. The guy would give us a bad grade because he didn't like the new releases that month.

And I don't know how this is a spoiler. One nondescript, ugly robot is the same as another in these films. But why did they block out his vagina face? Is the spoiler that his face no longer resembles a vagina?

I so wanted to love the first movie but Bay makes it so damn incredibly difficult to do so. Don't get me wrong, I like the move. I own the DVD and have bought the toys... for my son of course. I am a long time transformers fan and am still very split on Bay's treatment of this franchise. I mean he had 25 years of folklore, characters, and back story from which to choose and he scraps 98% of it in favor of new characters who either A. look nothing like their cartoon/toy counterparts form the 1980s (the Autobots) or B. look almost identical to each other with different unrecognizable names (the Decepticons).
I just don't know anymore. Giant Robots beating the crap out of each other for like a total of 13 minutes of screen time just does not a great movie make.
Though there are over 600 million reasons that just might prove me wrong.

Spoiler or not; I don't care. I stopped giving a shit about these movies and their awful-looking robots long ago.

However, I suppose it could be possible that this is one of those non-movie-character toys, based on what Megatron might look like if he were in the film. And of course he'd pick the stupidest-looking tank you could find. Why wouldn't he?

I'm sorry, but I just cannot deal with Shia thebeef. He's not charming or interesting. He's annoying. He's like a film-gnat.

But hey, this is Michael Bay. His movies generally suck, and he takes himself so seriously that it's rather funny to see what kind of cliche crap he spits out. Really, when it gets down to it, he's just Uwe Boll with a bigger budget.

No. But then, RiD Megatron is a tough act to beat in the "wierd-ass alt mode(s)" category (since he has like 10 of them). And this is at least his 3rd time being a tank, too.

More interesting is that in the first movie, the TFs would scan Earthen vehicles in order to disguise themselves. Megatron never really had a chance/inclination to do that, so he retained his Cybertronian space jet form. Fine.

But since he seems to have revived and has a new form, one has to wonder where it came from-- I doubt very much he scanned that here on Earth.

Wait, the bio tells it. Looks like he's made from "cannibalized" parts of Decepticons from the first movie.

Guess that would explain the strange look.
