It took me forever to think up a title for this article (and I'm not pretending that it's something magnificent) because Star Wars and sports are two things that rarely mix. The sectors of my brain that think about AT-ATs and the NY Giants' woes at wide receiver (please, sweet Evil Flying Jesus, don't sign Terrell Owens) are very far apart, and the synapses have mostly shut down completely. And yet someone -- call him a genius, or call him a fool -- conceived of and shot this video of various Star Wars characters playing sports, complete with laser balls and sound effects. I applaud you, sir. I have no idea what's wrong with you, but I applaud you nonetheless.

I love that they managed to work the Wilhelm Scream in there.

I'll be honest, that was amazing. I can only imagine an air bud-like comment: "Ain't no rules says a wookie can't play basketball."

Ha Ha! That's some funny stuff. The action and effects look really good though. I can't wait for Star Whores to come out next!

If sports had been like that in high school...I still probably wouldn't have played. Would've stolen the equipment, though.
...Whoever made the video did a pretty good job with the visual/sound effects. The Wilhelm Scream was a nice touch, too.

But yes. I like the Wilhelm scream. Well played.
