1- Her dream did not tell her to dig up the graves, it told her to find her sister at the facility, she thought everyone was dead hence the grave digging

2- She thought she was dead. Why have you not been looking for that puppy that ran away when you were at summer camp?

3- SHe was told to stay there because of Ma MA P's dream. She knew to listen to the dream so she chilled out there. Also she did leave to rob people and I would assume to get her hair cut once and a while. Also I think she may have been retarded

4- Thats how the power works, never been said taht she can control her power to see what she wants to see.

5- She will be back. And it was a plot point

6- Because it was actually good for them to have some back story and charecter deveopment. Showing that the Gov't tried this before and it went to shit.

Seriously do you pay attention when watching the show or is it just a bitch to both event for you.

The episode was crap no argument there, but it actually fleshed out her charecter and is setting up for next season and how to end this one.

This just in... there is no plot in Lost. The Lost plot is based on one of those choose your own adventure books.

It seems cool at first but gets annoying... because the writer keeps choosing the part of the adventure that allows him to continue...rather than die a horrible and satisfying death.

I love Lost... because of the characters. I hate lost... because of the ginormous holes in the "plot".

Yes, the guy does seem to understand Heroes, in that he understands how stalled the plot is, and how poorly developed the characters are. He should get a cookie.

I'm feeling optimistic for this next one! At least it can't be WORSE than the last. And apparently Sylar is going to propose to Claire (I shit you not) so at least that should be amusing/interesting/highly creepy. I'm actually starting to believe that the writers have started stealing their plot ideas from fanfiction now.

But here's hoping for some more irrelevant fruity nicknames this time!

I actually liked season one of Heroes. It wasn't great, but it was fun and entertaining. Then came two seasons of most inane, pointless dribble I've ever forced myself to sit through. A few episodes back, I realized that I hadn't actually enjoyed watching Heroes in a long, long time and that I must have only been still watching the show out of some subconscious masochistic desire to torture myself.

Once that realization was made, I had to swear off the show, for the betterment of my mental health. Every now and then I hear from friends who still watch the show (poor fools) that since Brian Fuller came back the show has gotten better. But for every one of them there are at least 10 articles like this that I read online or hear stories I hear from other friends who are also still torturing themselves by watching the show.

It makes me very happy that I've given up on the show altogether. Heroes needs to be cancelled and put out of its misery ASAP.

And as for Lost.....I love Lost. It's a great show that is only getting better. Although I would disagree that the show's writing is done as a "choose your own adventure story". I've always been of the opinion that the writing on that show is done by rolling percentile dice on a random plot device table.

Rolled a 27 . . . . . Someone grows a beard.

Rolled a 45 . . . . . Random encounter with a smoke monster.

Rolled a 99 . . . . . Everyone goes back in time to 1974.

The problems with season 3 of lost were the result of a couple of consecutive bad die rolls. However, for the last season or so they've been rolling really well, and I'm hooked again.

I'll admit there have been some weaker episodes this season (especially since Christmas in this whole fugitives arc) and it's definitely not as good as it was at the beginning, but the last episode was quite good. I'm sick of people looking for stuff to hate about this show. Is your life really so pathetic and empty that you have to take time out of your life every week to watch a show you hate and spend half the rest of the week bitching about how bad it sucks? I mean seriously. There's plenty of other shows to watch, or video games to play, or books to read that if you really hate the show, quit watching!

1. Dream featured her sister, who whe thought dead, very much alive. She dug the graves looking for proof that her sister was actually dead.
2. Because she thought she was dead 50 years. No reason to assume she lived a military shoot out until she dreamt of he alive sister in church a couple weeks ago.
3. Because she's crazy? I mean sure, crazy people usually make totally sane decisions which would better their lifestyle, I'm sure this is just one of those unique crazy people! ;)
4. She didnt need to know until now. Her dream told her to go find her sister, so that she would remeber what she went through in the past, to bring her own family back together, so that they wouldnt repeat their past mistakes.
5. No one likes ugly people on TV. It brought Peter and Nathan back together, and even somewhat Claire and Noah. She was a tool used to complete a job.
6. Because they just spent a season and a half making Peter and Nathan/Noah and Claire hate each other. Which ruined the show, I assume from all the bitching I've read on the internet over the past season and a half. So fixing that in one episode? All good to me.

You're asking this to a bunch of people who are posting items in the comments of a nerd news blog. I would figure the answer to that question would be pretty apparent. Yes.

Let me ask you a question in return though. Is your life really so pathetic that you feel the need to defend a totally craptastic show like Heroes in the comments section of a nerd news blog when instead you could be spending your time learning what good television is by watching shows like Battlestar Galactica, Gilligan's Island and Eureka.

Hell, even a super crappy show like Dollhouse is less mentally and spiritually damaging than Heroes is, and that show makes no fucking sense whatsoever. At least its only mind numbing, not actively painful to watch.

I agree that it's certainly not all bad! I've actually loved most of this volume's episodes (with the exception of the grave-digging and HRG-kidnap ones) especially the Sylar-centric ones which have been fantastic. It's just fun to have a friendly bitch about the show every so often. Especially when I feel screwed over by a filler episode coming in before the penultimate episode. I still love the show in general. If I didn't like it anymore, I wouldn't bother bitching at a bad episode - I'd just stop watching it and save myself the bother. I get annoyed at bad episodes, simply because I know how much better the standard of the show can be.

So of course I'll keep watching it. There's some awesome talent and flare behind the show and it's so entertaining and exciting when they get it RIGHT. It's just when they occasionally get it very wrong that I have a problem.

This is why I watch “Doctor Who”. Because after watching it I don’t ask myself why I keep wasting an hour (or more) of my life each week watching a show that consistently gets worse each time I watch it. Just face the fact that now BSG is gone American TV sucks… besides Frontline that is.

The main problem with the prior episode was the interment camp retcon. They form the Company to stop that sort of thing from happening again, yet all we've seen the Company do is capture and experiment on mutants. There wasno reason for them to leave Alice behind other than to make pathos for that episode. Having Suresh's dad at Project Almagadro ... er, Coyote Sands undermines him searching for real proof of mutants in the first season. Why didn't the government go back for their files and film after the soldiers shot everyone there? If Angela was interred as a kid, why was she so blase about Nathan hunting mutants at the start of the arc? It's a bit late for her to be say"never again!" at this point.

Argh everyone's wrong and I'm right!

Hmmmm, something tells me I made a good call when I decided to skip this series...and to skip Lost, too. And BSG.

So I’ll give you 1 point (Yay for you) but you can’t escape the fact that Heroes and Lost still suck.

I quit watching Heroes after the season 3 premiere. My life is much happier. However I keep coming around to read angry articles like this (1) because people SHOULD be fucking angry, because Heroes used to be FUN and its writers should be capable of giving us much more entertainment than they have, and if viewers don't complain then there is no chance the writers will stop coasting, and (2) because the ranting is much, much funnier than the people who kiss Kring's butt.

I could not get past the music choice from the last Heros epsisode. I am not quite sure of the song that was playing when the 50's flashback was happening. But the only image that song remindes me of is from Stephen King's Sleepwalkers. The same song plays when the mother and son are sleeping with one another.

Good god, Rob, relax. The last episode was the worst? Uh... I can think of plenty of eps from the last volume which deserve that moniker FAR more. Compared to last volume, this was much better quality - even if, yes, it went ultimately nowhere.

I'm just going to assume the booze has killed off your brain cells which recorded the information of what occurred in the last volume.

What I've never understood is why people call for a show to be canceled when they, personally, stop liking it. At best it's simply selfish and dickish. Patrick, for example, may have sworn off the show, bit I still enjoy watching it. So why should something I enjoy be taken away just because Patrick doesn't like it anymore? As a personal example, I hate Chuck, but other people like it. So they can have it, I just *gasp* will watch something else before Heroes.

Also, while I've never stopped enjoying Heroes, I can admit that it has gotten better with Fuller's return. I'm really looking forward to Volume 5, when he is in the mix from the beginning. I'm thinking that "Redemption" might refer to both the plot and a return to Season 1 quality (redeeming itself for the past two seasons).

If I recall correctly she didn't know she was alive at first, only that she had something to do with her dream and was trying to find her body by having them dig up all the graves to perhaps bring her some piece.

You want retconn? Baby Touch&Go's father is Parkmans' former partner's son from the affair his wife had with him. That's why he left her in the first place. Now the kid is suddenly Parkman's and it has powers.

just a thought, if sylar needs to take people's heads apart to figure them out, wouldn't he need to take his own head apart to rewire it--each time? i never understood just what his power was. like when hiro stabbed him through the chest with a katana in the first season ender, and then he stared at a cockroach and by next season he's all better. did he decapitate the cockroach?

remember when all of season 1 was about saving the cheerleader(and so save the world), and then in one of the following seasons sylar gets her anyway and it's like, 'hey, no big deal'?

i think the whole thing was about virginity. bear with me a little; i'm not an entire pervert. the whole thing was a metaphor, like, her world comes crashing down if she's killed (raped) by sylar. and since she's never done it, it's even worse for her. but then sylar comes along; shows her his stuff; and claire's like, 'hey, no biggie.' except, for awhile she couldn't feel pain (the shock); and then afterward sylar digs her (trys to relate by more than dominance); etc.

I agree.... Could the Weather Hag be any uglier.. The plot was the weakiest thing I have seen in years.. What was the point. Her semilucid sister surviving for 50 years in a bunker.. Yet she found time to put on makeup LOL. It so stupid you have to laugh....

On to other things I want Claire to have a new power.... I am bored with her current power. Cute but not very useful.. I am thinking it they should evolve the power from not be able to age. That she can speed up or slow down the growth of any living thing.... Turn a baby into an adult viceversa.... Although not useful as defensive power but when the cast gets old and ugly we can have claire just kind knock a few years off.... LOL Cmon thats what you expect from Cheerleader... She is no Buffy....
