Glad to see Deadpool get some mainstream love, I really hope against hope that the movie is halfway decent.

Reynolds seems to understand the character and conceded that he accepted the fucked up direction in Wolverine because it got him into the role and possibly secured Deadpool even getting made.

His mutant abilities is using guns/swords? Why not just call him the punisher?

No, his mutant ability is not 'using guns and swords'. He is just good at using guns and swords. Damn good at it.

That is about as dumb as saying Wolverine's mutant ability is 'making people piss their pants in fear'.

Hes not a mutant. He was given wolverines healing factor by weapon x to cure his cancer. The procedure cured him, but drove him insane. So, to be clear his powers are:
1. Health regeneration
2. Complete badassery
3. Common sence
4. Teleportation (He has a device for it)
5. Being damn good at useing guns and swords

I want one. And I want it now.

The Wife(tm) and I played MUA at least a half dozen times. Her favs are Wolvie and Deadpool (shocker eh?)

When is it coming out again? They don't make enough of those kinds games. Played Norrath to death, baulder game, the various Marvel games...

Every one of these videos that comes out makes me less and less excited about this game. Everything seems horribly sluggish. The first time you see a slow-motion team combo, it looks nice. The second time, it's ok. Every time after that you're less likely to use the move because it's just annoyingly slow. There are ways to portray the dynamic badass moves that these characters are supposed to be doing without grinding the action to a halt.

I just got a nerd giggle here! Those graphics look AWESOME! I can't wait for my Thor, Iron Fist, Deadpool, Cap team!

i played the first UA just to play deadpool and it was lame and im pretty sure this is going to be lame too.

Some of us don't stay sober enough to play anything that takes any more concentration. I have to be sober and think all fracking day at work. When I get home I want beer, rum, red meat and buttons to mash.

Hopefully Daredevil's as much of an unmitigated asskicker as he was in the first Ultimate Alliance. Him, Deadpool, Spidey and... shit, who's another red-clad hero in this game? Scarlet Witch or (ugh) Elektra?

Too bad this is going to be based on Civil War and not Galactus coming to kick everyone on the planet's ass as they teased at the end of the prior game.

What impressed me about the first MUA was the voice talent and animation in the cinemas. I usually hate cinemas in games (especially JRPGs) but MUA really did a great job. In fact, I think the MUA version of Doctor Doom may well be THE perfect Doctor Doom film representation. His voice was awesome. He looked great. He acted the way he should... It was Doom.

The opening cinema to the game was like watching the first issue of New Avengers animated perfectly. Brilliant stuff. Spidey, Cap, and Wolvie all sounded spot-on.

I really wish the guys doing the cinema animation for these MUA games would release a feature-length film version of some great Marvel storyline.

Until then, I'm really happy with Wolverine and the X-Men.

You guys do know that you can't (at least for the first play through) have a team with Wolverine, Iron Man, Captain America, and some random 4 person? Each side (pro-reg. and anti-reg.) has two characters that cannot switch sides
