Good thing it's a fan film because the acting, actors, and script were awful. Bizarro looks like he's Chris-Kattan-sized. I hate to say this, but PG's boobs weren't big and round enough.

I always get so distracted by the unbelievably shitty acting and dialogue in these things that I can't appreciate the few things it does decently.

Her hotness isn't the issue. It's her awful acting (and that of everyone in this piece) that makes everything uninteresting. As a former actor, some fan films just make me cringe when I see the sheer lack of talent on display.

If you don't feel natural saying it or doing it, then you don't look or sound natural, either. The best actors don't display their consciousness of the camera (or audience) when delivering lines.

Really? Fap material? I thought this was one of the better short fanfilms out there. From Bizzaro to Powergirl talking to Oracle, I found it a hilarious and accurate portrayal of DC characters. Though I think the one where Powergirl finds a job is also nice. Plus the same group did some Question ones.

As a current actor, let me just say that if you have shitty dialogue written for you, and terrible direction, you have no chance at all. The woman wasn't that bad at all, more like an actual woman than some perfect Hollywood bimbo. But again, it comes down to direction. Good director could have gotten a better read.

Big problem when you have someone writing and directing their own work.

Honestly, with that dialogue, and those action sequences it would have been damn hard to pull off, even if you had top tier talent and Hollywood CGI.

In the end, even if it wasn't great, I have to give them credit for actually doing something instead of, you know, sitting around on the computer and bitching about the world. :-)
