The Other Official G.I. Joe Movie
This is an official — what would you call it, viral video? Short film? Companion piece? — to the G.I. Joe: Rise of Cobra movie, in that it’s made by Hasbro and Paramount. But that’s pretty much all it has in common: it uses toys for an old-school adventure, and the 25th anniversary toys at that. It’s not bad — the face animation is creepy but very well done, and I very much appreciated the random switching between hooded and masked Cobra Commander. Plus, it’s got the Snake Eyes/Scarlett relationship, which should please you people. I guess 3 3/4-inch action figures can do things that professional actors can’t.
