• lol. loved the look on the one teams faces when John was telling the story ad the one guy kept asking how he wound up in prince charles garden. totaly funny

• As for Whose Line - at the end of the UK series, the entire panel was the regular US one (Brady/Mochrie/Proops/that tall one), with only Clive Anderson as the host. Drew Carey only showed up for the US series because he was still riding high after his namesake show. :P

• Yeah, this episode was from 2007 or so. Quite old. It was probably picked up because it went on rerun on Dave/showed up randomly on youtube or something and got picked up along the American twitter/blog wires. Incidentally, the show itself is really hit or miss (often miss). Worth watching clips of it when David Mitchell goes on one of his inspired rants.

• Isn't that episode from about two series ago? It definitely isn't recent because Rob Brydon's not the host. And there's a special place in my heart for the Shark Attack 3 clip. :)

• Heh. He's been telling this story forever actually, but it's still funny every time. If he's anything, it's not shy. Now on to the random (unasked for and yet not unappreciated?) tales of Andrew Lloyd Webber writing him notes telling him to stop putting his penis on the pianos during rehearsal and performances...it's never a dull interview. (If we're lucky, they break out -that- Shark Attack 3 clip as well... ;)

• Who's line is it anyway was actualy a British format. It's like your whole life is a lie.

• I've heard a lot of people in my past call Brit's a bunch of snobs, but all I can say is that they have some of the best comedy in the world come right out of the U.K.! They are not snobs, they are funny! Why can't we get funny shows like this is the U.S.? The funniest I remember for a show like this was Drew Carey's Who's Line Is It Anyway?
