Your MMO Character Has a Shot with Felicia Day
Ha ha! Not really. But you can console yourself with this excellent music video from Ms. Day and her castmates of her Xbox/web series The Guild, titled “Do You Want to Date My Avatar.” It’s actually been on Xbox Live and iTunes for a couple of weeks, but I was waiting for a legitimate embeddable version to show it off to you guys. And why not? It’s a pretty darn good song (note: I own a lot of Kylie Minogue CDs) and while I knew that Felicia Day could sing, I had no idea she could sing that well. I’m nothing but impressed, frankly. If you dig it, you can purchase the video and the MP3 on iTunes, and here’s a link to the MP3 for sale at Amazon. Frankly, it’s the perfect song to listen to as I try and figure out the winners of this weekend’s absolutely amazing TR contest on nerdy dating tips from nerdy girls. Kismet!
