• I would say Dr. Doom is doing a parody of Gallagher, and parody is protected speech. I love this guy. I don't know what it is about a guy dressed up as Dr. Doom doing bad jokes, but it just makes me laugh. In this case, the invisible watermelon was the killer. I hope he keeps it up. Next he should get a guitar and do a musical comedy act.

• He really needs to be careful. Gallagher WILL sue him. Gallagher sued his own brother for smashing fruit on stage, claiming it was his unique idea and a copyrighted act. And if Gallagher successfully beats Dr. Doom, then the universe will implode.

• Oh god, my temples ache, that's fucking hilarious. "Reed Richerds says Tomayto, I say tomahto. reed richards says potayto, I say, 'Fuck you, reed richards!'"

• i think everyone noticed doom, but no one has yet to aknowledge the first 6 seconds that has some random dude behind doom with the uber sweet bouncing souls t-shirt. x2 rad. e.c.f.u.

• "A bowl of Trix... because Sue Storm is a whore." C'mon that is comic (yes both terms of the word) gold!

• Ok, the prop comedy in this isn't a patch on the straight-up stand-up comedy of his first performace but that lemonade line makes it all worthwhile.

• DOOM! With the Doom-O-Matic, only one thing is left unconquered by Doom! Muhahaha!

• This is pretty damn funny. Gallagher aside, the whole thing is pretty hilarious.

• I love this. What an awesome concept. The humor comes from the dead-on evocation of <i>about how good you would expect</i> Doctor Doom to be, at standup comedy. So priceless. You're not laughing <i>with</i> him, you're laughing <i>at</i> him - yet of course you know that it isn't Victor Von Doom in there, but a clever impersonator milking the tension of that "meta" dichotomy for the dumbest yuks imaginable. Smart on top of dumb on top of brilliant, on top of evil. The first one of these was unbeatable: a collection of ancient schoolyard chestnuts, retooled with the Fantastic Four in place of the original joke's butt. The trite and over-told, probably-not-that-funny-in-the-first-place is elevated to a zippy level of first-rate absurdity! I've giggled, and I've belly-laughed, but that thing had me <i>belly-giggling</i> and I hope it never happens again, because what an unpleasant sound. This second episode had a a wonderfully awful opener that rose to the same standard. But the rest was merely... Fantastic.

• I still had a lot of fun with this despite it being lame and repetative.

• Y'know, I've always maintained that Doom is a righteous--yet sadly misunderstood--figure in the vein of Magneto. He's a member of a persecuted ethnic minority who rose above his humble origins and then returned to his community as a fighter for dignity and self-determination. Instead of using his intellect to get a cushy job in one of the world's financial centers, Doom put his genius in the service of his people and all others who resist imperialism. I can forgive a lot of his excesses when I look at it that way. But prop comedy? That's a bridge too far. It's just evil for evil's sake.

• It's curious that the infallible wikipedia references a "Gallagher Too" controversy in which the brother Ron rips off the act. The family sided with Ron and, mercifully I haven't heard from either again. This might be a phantom of the opera curtain call. Somebody get me a can opener.

• But thats the brilliance of Doom. You dont think he would be hawking a product until he does. I never thought my life would improve my Latverian Prop Comedy.

• it has to be a doom bot for doom would not subject himself to hawking something like that plus ripping off Gallager doom has no sense of humor and bigger fish to fry.

• well, the premise = brilliant, but that's gotta be just some doombot with some buggy version 1.0 open mic standup programming or something. Victor himself would've killed for sure.
