The commercial for the DVD has literally promised "More origins!" What? How just having the goddamn "origins" you gave us making a lick of sense?
• The Big Bang Theory Season Two
Many people say this is good. I personally can't get into it, but it's not one of those things where I begrudge people liking it. I'm sure many people will explain why its awesome in the comments.
• Barbie and the Three Musketeers
Can barbie take on three swashbucklers' "muskets" at once? Contains hardcore sexual content.
• Doctor Who '08 Christmas Special
Basically, the Doctor and the Doctor team up to kick Cyberman ass.
• Sanctuary: The Complete First Season
A Syfy series I'm not watching. Commenters, care to lend me a hand?
• X-Men, Vols. 3 and 4
These two 2-disc sets contain the Dark Phoenix and Apocalypse stories, respectively, for a total of 29 episodes. Not bad.
• Primeval Vol. 3
A BBC series I'm not watching, and I'm not going to, at least not until I get through Torchwood, some Doctor Who, and Being Human. Although I'm told it's quite good.
• The IT Crowd Season 3
This British nerd-com is just as sitcom-y as The Big Bang Theory, so I don't know why I love it but can't get into BBT. It might just be the accents, frankly.
• Transformers Season 2, Vol.1
Twenty-eight episodes. None I remember. You should have gotten the complete box set, man.
• Army of Darkness Screwhead Edition
No, wait! It's the Blu-ray version! You might actually want this one! I have no idea if this contains the original theatrical version, the director's cut, or what extras from the 19 DVD versions previously released, and the Amazon page is no help. Still... Blu-ray?
• Clone Wars: Clone Commandos Season 1 Vol. 2
Holy hell. Not only does this disc contain only four episodes, it's not even in widescreen. Jesus.
• Dark Shadows: The Vampire's Curse
A.k.a. "The Best of Barnabas." I think. There's another disc, The Haunting of Collinwood, if you're interested.
• Knights of Bloodsteel
Oh, come on. It's called Knights of fucking "Bloodsteel." I had to mention it. Dare you watch the trailer?
• Deadgirl
Note this movie is selling significantly worse than Knights of Bloodsteel. Perhaps the filmmakers overestimated mass audiences' desire to watch high school boys sexually abuse a chained-up zombie girl.
• The Legend of Drunken Master
The greatest martial arts film of all time on Blu-ray. Because it involves Jackie Chan getting powered up through booze.
• King Kong Vs. Godzilla
You can't have any money left at this point, can you?

Is the King Kong Vs. Godzilla DVD new? I'd love a collector's edition (like the ones Sony is putting out for a lot of Toho's daikaiju films), but the link looks just like the old Universal release. It's got the same old reviews, too. The release date is new, though. Is it on Blu-Ray or something?

I really hope they start making some new IT Crowd episodes soon. I just watched a movie called frequently asked questions about time travel. It had the actor who played roy as a character named ray, who was basically just roy toned down a small amount. Fantastic scifi movie, but at the end it just left me a bit sad that there's no more it crowd to watch.

I almost never say buy a HK knock-off, but in the case of Legend Of Drunken Master, I'll make an exception.
go online, buy Drunken Master II, the same movie with better music and a few scenes that got cut from LoDM. Drunken Master II is a masterpiece. Anita Mui was amazing!

Note that the Amazon page for Army of Darkness does not mention Bruce Campbell as starring in the film.
The same Bruce Campbell who is on the cover.

Buyer beware: LEGEND OF DRUNKEN MASTER is good, but it's the American cut of DRUNKEN MASTER II that cuts out the film's real ending and doesn't show what happened to Chan's character, instead saying something like "he's recovering." No bullshit, in the original we see that after downing all that industrial alcohol for the final fight and having it turn him into a brain-fermented badass on wheels, Chan's character has literally drunk himself into a state of outright mental retardation and is seen in his family's backyard doing very broadly "comedic" spastic retard moves and faces. I'm guessing that was excised in the name of political correctness, but when last I checked that moment of jaw-dropping tastelessness was still included on the Hong Kong subtitled DRUNKEN MASTER II prints available through Tai Seng (that was over ten years ago and on VHS, so it may be long gone).
And while some consider DRUNKEN MASTER II to be the best martial arts film of all time, I still prefer the first one for its genuinely hilarious comedy, great story, and stunts that were mind-boggling when first seen (it was over thirty years ago).

Primeval is not a BBC series. ITV (Independent UK TV channel) produced it.

There was an episode of BBT where a conversation about Green Lantern weaknesses (killing either one with a number 2 pencil) was very similar to a conversation I had with my wife days before. That's what truely made me a fan.

I also can't get into BBT - it's the laugh track. For me, it just drowns out the humor and is super annoying.
I wish they would have alternate audio tracks on the dvd releases of sitcoms without the laugh track.

Sanctuary was OK. I wouldn't go out of my way to watch it, especially if I had some Torchwood, Doctor Who, Primeval or Being Human to watch. I would actually recommend the originally webisodes over the SyFy series reboot.

Dragonball season 1 is out! HOLY FUCKING KAMI! I'm at Wal-mart right now! Damn I've been waiting for this shit since 1995!
@Rob
What do you mean you don't remember TF:Season 2 Part 1? Megatron's Master Plan part 1 & 2 kicks major ass where he convinces the idiot humans that the Autobots are the real enemies. Not to mention the dipshits Grappler and Hoist and their "Solar Power Tower" they build without Prime's permission and with the help of the Contructicons. Fuck, Dr. Smoov's latest parody shows the idiocy of countless Autobots siding with the Decepticons. And of course the first time Tracks gets an episode to himself where we can see the homoerotic/cross-species love between himself and his boy Raoul develop for the first time before season 2 part 2 took it up a notch with Autobop.
Regardless, I already own the "supposedly" inferior Rhino releases which I'm perfectly content with.

No, but it's not everyone that hated it. Mainly just picky fanboys like myself. It was okay, but disappointing. Very little Wolverine-style violence, a really dumb take on Deadpool, and of course the scene with the Blob which boggles the mind.

Sanctuary is a good bit of escapism and actually turned into a pretty good show after they started in on their season storyline. The second season begins in October I think so I'm pumped for it to be back.

The Big Bang Theory isn't anything special, and a guilty pleasure at best. Generally, for every legitimately funny/geektastic moment there are about 20 crappy, painfully conventional ones.
I would also like the mention my disappointment in the failure to include It's Always Sunny Season 4 on the list, because it's the greatest show on TV that's not called The Venture Bros.

@Stater Nuts, huh? It absolutely will be released because it's an f'n slam dunk when it comes to revenue. Just FYI, its schedule for Nov. 1 release, so it's not like wasn't going to come out. It's just been a long wait. The full season was never dependent on thy sales some rinky-dink highlights disk.
Lesson no. 1 of Star Wars my friend: GL doesn't pass up opportunities to make money!

Big Bang is very funny mostly because the main character seems to be written as though he has Asperger's syndrome which explains why his friends are willing to put up with him.
Primeval is rubbsih. You missing nothing apart from ropey cgi and boring plots.
The IT Crowd improves on repeated viewing.

I like the Big Bang Theory because, unlike most sitcom nerds, what they talk about in the show are real science/pop culture. When most sitcoms have nerds who talk about made-up movies like "Galaxy Attack" or something, these nerds do real Star Trek discussions like real nerds.
Though it's kind of hit-and-miss sometimes.
