In today's installment of everyone's favorite sitcom Gary the Cylon, Gary gets a surprise visit and Starbuck learns a valuable lesson about bravery (namely, don't be a pussy).
Frankly, I don't know how there got to be 15 of these things before I heard about 'em. Having not seen the original BSG, I can only assume this one was cut out of an episode where Starbuck was marooned with a Cylon and made a truce with it, but the rest are taken from the entirety of the series. If you're looking for a way to kill an hour -- like Cylons kill humans -- you could do a helluva lot worse than marathoning the entirety of Gary. Much thanks to Roger F for the tip.

James remembers correctly. It was also the episode where some crazy space chick comes down and gives a virgin birth on the planet. Starbuck builds him a ship out of scrap. And the little bastard rejoins the ship as the insufferably annoying Doctor Z. A kid who made Wesley Crusher look like fucking [insert name of cool sci-fi kid here, I can't think of one]

James, youre right. The episode is "The Return of Starbuck" and was the only beacon of light in the sea of shit that was Galactica 1980. And thats saying alot.

Didn't watch BSG then. If it had been like this I would have.
Great tip, there are some really fun episodes.

It's good. Maybe could use some flying motorcycles, but we can always add that it post. And who doesn't love Robbie Rist? Let's work some Doctor Zee magic in there.

I think this was also the last episode shown from the abyssmal Galactica 1980. All I remember was being so excited Starbuck was coming back when this was on originally. Huge Dirk Benedict crush.
