Well, aren't there technically TWO werewolves, since there was one that bites Talbot (just going by the original 1941 plot they are supposedly adapting). I'm actually jonesing for this remake. Been a LONG while since there was a good werewolf standalone film.

Funny you should say that the New Moon clip would be better without the insipid dialogue. Had a new trailer in front of Zombieland, and two seconds in, ALL audio stops, but the trailer continued. Audience cheered and riffed the HELL out of it (my own: as Bella jumped into the sea - "Oh shit! I forgot I'm not Aquaman!").

And yes, greatest werewolf (or rather, "warwilf") movie of all time is "Werewolf," but ONLY the MST3K version.

The only good part about Bella is Emo (Plus werewolves!) [Better know as "New Moon"] is the werewolves.

Fourth book was actually epic as fuck during the first third, which, by the way, was from the perspective of a werewolf.

The rest of the fourth book was just pointless build up to a lackluster bullshit anti-climax, so it classifies as the worst overall.

Arsenal, just be hopeful that the werewolves in New Moon don't sleep nose to anus.

The Twilight wolf transformations are kinda wimpy.

I like the really painful one from An American Werewolf in London. Those Twilight guys' transform may burst out of their pants, but aside from being big, they look kinda like wusses. Any neat, trim, body-hairless late teen / early 20's heartthrob looks wimpy. Even in buswolf form.

The Wolfman - looks great to me and I WILL be seeing this one.

Twilight Saga New Moon - I admit it, guys. My wife rented the movie and I watched it with her. It really wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. Certainly wasn't as good to me as some people make it out to be. But the sequel here? I actually liked the looks of it. And if only because I am curious to see what happens in the second movie, I'm sure my wife will rent it and I will watch it. But I did like the idea that the wolves are, well, giant wolves. Different. But I can assure you that I DO NOT glitter!

Mystery Science Theater 3000 - what the hell bad can I even say about these guys? Nothing, that's what! These guys are great at belittling some low-budget flick. Live on MST 3000!

I would actually be disappointed if a movie titled "The Wolfman" turned out to feature multiple werewolves.

Wolfman was always my favorite out of the Universal monsters. As such, I was very leery about this project. The trailers have convinced me of their worth, however. The original was, admittedly, a bit sparse on plot. ("Lawrence, you're a wolfman!" "I don't wanna be a wolfman!" "Stop crying and let us kill you.") The rapid changes in scenery that we see in these new trailers suggests a much deeper plot.

I wish BDT could have realized the Wolfman movie without resorting to CG lycanthropy transformations.

I must confess that when I saw the shirtless dudes, I exclaimed "Niiiiiiice!", but then they started to talk and spew that awful dialogue and all the hotness was replaced by your typical Twilight lameness. At least they are not sparkling.

And MST3K? Well, I miss the days they riffed old B-movies. These days they do Transformers and stuff, and that's kinda lame.

I've read that a lot of the focus on Werewolves in the 3rd and 4th books of the Twilight Saga are because the author intends to write a spin-off series based on Leah (?) the female werewolf. So, there's a nice new nightmare for all of us.

Don't judge me - I felt I had to read the books, I'm studying to become a librarian. I'm too ashamed to put them on my bookshelf with my Dresden Files, WOT and DragonLance. And you know, cos the universe might implode.

Kes don't worry the universe will not implode if you do that. Rather what will happen is this, Dresden and Dragon Lance books will corner the twilight and then start beating them to death slowly. Then most likly after hours of being beatin and haveing bodly fluids spiled apone them the Twighlight book will aloud to die and then replace with the Percy Jackson books who will stand proudly next to other fine young adult books.

I just can't understand why only one creature is a problem for you. I think that having many makes them less important, less mystical.

I watched the New Moon trailer and i don't get why the vampire government or whatever the fuck they are would be pissed at the dude for stepping out into the sunlight. It wouldn't out him as a vampire and uncover their existence by glittering in public. Everyone would just assume he was on his way to or from a gay pride parade.
