How many times was she nekkid on that show? I mean, they did a whole episode about Homer and her getting caught out in public screwing! This doesn't bother me, and I still love the show. I think it's great that the show's been on for 21 years and that Marge Simpson is still relevant enough to generate a response, be it good or bad. For me, it's good. Now, were they drawing her nude, that'd be a whole other matter, but they're not, so, yeah...fine with this.

1) She's just going to be in lingerie, not butt-naked.
2) The Internet has shown us much worse, so it's basically a non-story.
3)We're on a blog that routinely explores the depths of hell in the form of porn fan fiction. Why blow a fuse over... this ? I'm sure we could see Marge in lingerie in any episode and nobody would bat an eye. That's just pushing the "Marge is considered a looker in the Simpsons universe" concept one step further.

I have to disagree, Rob. I personally still enjoy the Simpsons. It's not good anymore, but neither is Family Guy or American Dad (though the latter was never good to begin with).

Just because the guy who posted this hates it doesn't mean we all have to. I think it's WAY overdue. Marge has always been hot since we saw her with her hair down in her college years, and we've been teased with this the time she got breast implants. I for one don't see the big deal since she's not even drawn naked in the book.

Come on! If it was Homer on the cover and in a spread everyone would think it was hilarious. It's all just to celebrate the fact that a cultural icon (even if not as watched anymore) has reached a legendary milestone with it's 20th season. Maybe you're not a fan of 'The Simpsons' anymore, but it's still pretty darn impressive for a primetime animated show that began on a fledgling network like Fox was way back then to stick around for twenty years.

I can't say that I'm personally opposed to nude drawings, based on real or fictional characters, but really, what's the point? Anyone who wants to see Marge in the buff can do a simple SafeSearch-Off Google search and get what they want for free; unless they want official Groening-approved pics, I just don't see the point behind this. Now if she were headlining an article about how hot traditional homemakers on TV are, then perhaps it'd be a bit more relevant.

Could also be a bit of a 'gateway' issue to attract unsuspecting pre-teens/teenagers to buying naughty magazines...

Marge has been drawing in lingerie or nude in the series multiple times. She's been shown or implied engaging in foreplay or licentious carnal behavior with Homer. This hardly counts as a reason to care. In fact, the only thing that seems droll about it is that it's probably 14 years too late to really be considered edgy or risque.

IRT Matt Groening and the Simpsons: the show really has been on autopilot since around 2000-2002 or so...I don't think he's actually shown up around the studio much, at least since Futurama took off.

To be fair. If we boycotted anything that there was porn of then we would have no form of entertainment left. Beyond the obvious, what disturbs me the most is that all of my students, LOVE the Simpsons. I work in an elementary school with primarily with kids on the Autism Spectrum, all of whom are internet savvy. Next time they look up "The Simpsons" this crap is going to pop up!
