I've never watched Doctor Who in my life so I can't comment if it's an accurate depiction. But the animations looks nice. Voicing needs work though.

Sounds like the voicing was taken from the episodes, so blame John Pertwee.
But man, I want to see this whole. Was that an anime Brig I saw directing five rounds rapid at those bally Cybermen? Out-freaking-standing.

Holy Fucklobsters. That is amazing. The Cybermen actually sound great, really disembodied and emotionless (Their voices weren't lifted from the show, were they?).
We must see more. MORE! ANIME BRIG FTW!

@Aberrant0x7: Not accurate in depiction, at all. It is purposely done in a very camp and 'every thing shines' style. As for the voice, everything but the stereotypical anime girl side kick is 100% pulled from the original series.

As for my own opinion, eh... I love the old Dr. Who shows and catch them on BBC when ever I can, but this just doesn't do it for me. I like anime and old, campy anime. I also like sci-fi and old, campy sci-fi, but throwing one on top of the other...

I'm liking these. The mashup of old-skool Doctor and the anime setting and companion is interesting. It sounds like he's getting the Doctor's and the (General's?) audio from the original show, is that right?

Did they actually sample Jon Pertwee's lines for this? This is pretty D@%* awesome, either way.

That was awesome. Doctor Who is the ultimate show to made into anime. I hope the creator keeps up the good work.

This might be my biggest geek fantasy come true (at least of the non-slave-leia born ilk). Great work. My only complaint is, of all the Doctors, this guy was my least favorite (next to "pimp Moe"). What's wrong with a little scarf action, or even one of the newer Doctors (who, incidentally, kick ass)?

I gotta say, I like this quasi-Jack Kirby looking animation. Of course, the only thing I thought that kind of resembled any type of Jack Kirby art was the way the aliens and their ship looked kinda Kirby-ish. The people of course didn't.

I had no problem with this at all. Looked cool to me.

The 3rd Doctor (Jon Pertwee) is probably the best choice for an action-oriented anime based on Earth. I'm glad they chose him over the typical 4th Doctor or latest Doctor.

It looks really amazing, but the author should use a less shiny color palette. It just makes some scenes confusing, and you miss out all those cool details that were drawn.

Actaully, I thought the girl just might be an anime version of Leela. Sure, wrong Doctor for that (4th), but the other video had a 5th Doctor incarnation of the Master too, so maybe it's just a bit of a mashup.
