Bender's collectible noggin contains 18 DVDs, which includes all four TV seasons and the four DVD movies for a reasonable $130. A great deal if you haven't bought them all already. Which you have.
• Legend of the Seeker: The First Season
What? I didn't even know Legend of the Seeker had started airing, but it's out on DVD? Weird. Apparently this adaptation of Terry Goodkind's fantasy series strays far off the reservation, so fantasy fans, take note.
• Drag Me to Hell
By all indications, Sam Raimi's latest flick and return to his horror roots is awesome. It's at the top of my Netflix queue for that very reason.
• The Mighty Boosh Special Edition DVD
All three seasons of the surreal British comedy series currently airing on Adult Swim (or it was recently, at least) in one box set with one extra bonus disc, I think. I've watched the first two seasons, and I don't know. Once I decided it wasn't a comedy but more just a chronicle of fever dreams, I enjoyed it a lot more.
• Marvel Animation 6-Film Set
There's absolutely no indication what's in this set, so let me guess: the two Ultimates cartoons, the excellent Hulk Vs., the Doctor Strange and Iron Man cartoons no one saw and... that awful Next Avengers. Guess which one of these properties is not on the box art?
• Lovecraft: Fear of the Unknown
A documentary on that fun-loving hipster H.P. Lovecraft, including interviews with directors John Carpenter and Guillermo del Toro, amongst others.
• Playmobil: The Secret of Pirate Island
Looks like Playmobil wants some of that sweet direct-to-DVD cartoon movie cash that Lego's been enjoying. Also, it looks terrible.

Next Avengers was decent. Far better than the second Ultimates flick. Doc Strange was surprisingly decent, and probably my favorite of all of them (Outside of the Hulk vs stuff). I didnt even bother watching Ironman.
I wish I could get my hands on the Bender head without the DVDs... :(

@Rob: Watch Series 3 of the Mighty Boosh, it's probably the show's best.
And I do wish I hadn't already bought every Futurama DVD ever.... but that box set would be even better if all the DVDs came in a lifesize Nixon jarhead, which doubled as a Halloween mask.

The Playmobil is a "Choose Your Own Adventure" type DVD. Fun for the kids!

I don't think Next Avengers is in that box. 6 films?
2 Ultimates, Doctor Strange, Iron Man, Hulk Vs Thor, and Hulk Vs Wolverine (which has Deadpool done right therefor fricken awsome!).

@Beast Hulk VS is to movies as one, so they are still probably calling it one movie so it most likely does have Next Avengers.
As for Next avengers, I thought it was decently well done for a cartoon aimed at younger fans.
And the Iron Man film is okay, but it seemed like it needed some work and should have been held back, they just wanted to release it when they did to coincide with the Iron Man movie.

Legend of the Seeker is awful...I use to just watch it for the lolz, and then I stopped because it turned from so-bad-it
's-funny to so-bad-it's-unfunny. What a complete waste of a fantasy series.

@Aggie: I just say that because, in my opinion, series three contains more of my favourite episodes in it than the others do.... if you see what I mean?

Legend of the Seeker is just painful to watch. The main character and his not-quite girlfriend have all the acting range of the characters in a breakfast cereal or office supply store commercial, while the wizard happily chews the scenery that they're busy ignoring. Add to this a load of surprisingly bloodless and uninspired kung-foolery with edged weapons, while traipsing through some rather well kept woodlands on a search for the McGuffin du jour, and you have a show that could put a hyperactive ten year old child to sleep.

The Playmobil movie doesn't look horrible. the animation is fluid and the voice acting isn't cringe worthy. I swear sometimes you just look for things to be cynical about. lol

Legend of the Seeker I love that show. Glad to see it made it out to DVD and got another season. I look forward to seeing more Kahlan (Bridget Regan) * drool * and Denna (Jessica Marais) skin tight leather and very suggestive S&M yes please.

did you actually see Next Avengers? it's probably the best thing Marvel Animation has done. IMO, Dr. Strange and Hulk Vs. are tied for the worst.

@DoctorSmashy Of course! I love all seasons.. But I guess season 1 has more love in it for me. Although, season 3 has the party episode and the punk episode. Tricky business. I'll rather say that I like episodes instead of seasons. That meaning, all episodes except for the Priest and the Beast. Hah. I am easy to please.

Legend of the Seeker is a pretty good show on its own, just know they do skip over and shorten a lot of things from the book. (Completely understandable considering the last half of the book was basically just one overly-long dominatrix session.)
I'm gonna throw my hat in the Mighty Boosh ring and say I like season 2 the best for one reason: Old Gregg.

Easily the most quotable episode.
'I'm gonna hurt ya.'
'What?!'
'I like ya. What do you think of me?'
'....I don't rightly know, sir.'
'Make an assessment!'
'....I think you're a perfect gentleman.'
'Don't lie to me, boy!'

Legend of the Seeker is on before "At the Movies" in my area (which is on 12:45 AM Sunday night/Monday morning), and it looks like some LARPers wandering around their local park.

If all the Ayn Rand stuff got dropped from Legend of the Seeker I might give it a chance. Otherwise, I don't appreciate being lectured at.

While the Sword of Truth series would be best served as a TV series, wow I wish they had a budget. I just hope the Legend of the Seeker series doesn't keep someone good that gives a crap from doing the series justice.
Given the budget, I'm not too worried. Some studio exec could reach in his pocket and pull out enough lint...er...cash to buy the rights.
I wouldn't mind seeing a comic series of this similar to The Dark Tower.
