These would very much be the Geek Apparel of the Week, except they're a little too cool for me to wait until Thursday to post. ThinkGeek has concocted these Portal-inspired shirts which use "two wireless 5.8 GHz video cameras mounted in the front of each shirt along with two high-res LCD TFT screens" to simulate the portal-shooting gun from the game. Now, each shirt is $99 and you need to buy two to make them worth a damn, but even if I can't afford 'em, I'm very happy to know they're out there.

I think this was one of their April Fools products from last year. Are they actually available for purchase?

Apparently people liked them enough, that the are releasing them. You can even buy replacment batteries, which are like 20 bucks a pop as well.

Click the "buy now" link for proof that these don't exist (sadly)
The shirt that they ended up making because of popular demand was the "personal soundtrack shirt".

Even if they exist and are available for purchase, $200 is more than I want to pay for a mildly amusing nerd-joke. This gimmick costs more than three new-gen video games. I'd rather have the games and entertain myself for dozens of hours than a few (at most).

Those dastards, I really thought it was real. Like when you wake up from a really good dream where you had super-powers, and then you get up from bed, go to the bathroom, wash your face, go downstairs, have breakfast, go to the bathroom, brush your teeth, look in the mirror and realise you don't have super-powers, it was just a dream.
I mean, I've never done that O_O
