Nope. There may have been a few "I wonder why they never made a Big Lob" queries here and there, but nothing anybody really lost sleep over.
Just one of those things they're throwing out there to see if some completionists will grab at it.

Big Lob and Cobra-La were the nail in the coffin for GI Joe cartoons.

it was not big lobes fault the character had to debute in that infamous film that killed the cartoon. he has been requested for so long for some fans like him. as for pythona rumor has it she was almost headed to prototype. but given how gijoe the movie killed the cartoon and start to make the line die . though given Big Lobe showing up no doubt she could also

The movie had nothing do with the cartoon dying - sales of the toyline were already slumping when the movie was due to come out, and then the movie itself was yanked from theatres when Transformers flopped (and, of course, it got edited because of kids' whining about Optimus dying).
[Which is a shame, since Duke's death scene would've been a million times better than Optimus', as Hawk / Scarlett / Doc crying over his corpse was a hell of a lot more moving than ten robots you'd only met five minutes earlier.]
Then they took production away from Sunbow and handed the reins over to DiC, which really is what killed things off.

Nobody liked Duke. The only response at his death would've been tons of cheering.
