what a nice way to finaly put the series to rest the van dam vs dolph even though its just straight to dvd. though at least the series gets to end a good way. if the dvd is the last of the series

I think the series had already ended on a good note. They bring JVCD back to life!! So they found a cure for death, and the movie kinda glosses over that.

The funny thing is that "JCVD" was one of the best movies I've seen in the past couple of years.

Although I guess you can't really do a sequel to something like that, so it's back to the 00s version of the Highlander franchise.

I loved, loved JCVD so much when I was growing up, my mom would always play his movies, and I watched the shit out of them.

JCVD strength - face punching; Arlovski's weakness - getting punched in the face...

I remember I thought Universal Soldier was cool. But I was a little brat then, so my taste might've sucked asscake!

Great JCVD & Dolph together at last! But for me no Jean-Claude Van Damme movie is complete without a trademark Van Damme butt shot. His nude scene in the original Universal Soldier was definitive movie moment in my formative teenage years. The lack of that kind of scene was the dead of Universal Soldier The Return for me. Well that and the lack of a script. I mean you got JCVD, Michael Jai White & Bill Goldberg, and not even a shirt shredded? The Shame!
Hope JCVD, Dolph or at least Andrei Arlovski show us some love, baby!

Jean Claude Van Damme just hasn't really been any good in quite a long time. He's been rocking the B-movie crap for the longest time. I just can't seem to feel good about this one. Now, Dolph Lundgren? Sure, he's cool still. Otherwise? Just not really excited.
