Not much to say here, except that this is a pic of Carrie Fisher and her stunt double sunning themselves on Jabba's sail barge during a break in shooting during RotJ. Since it's kind of a slow news day and several million people emailed the pic to me, I thought it might be worth posting. Feel free to let me know if I'm mistaken.

Just when I think you've bludgeoned me to death with one too many posts about Sugar-Daddy Kens, Pink Flamingoes, and Dungeons & Dragons, you give us this. And I'm right back in line.

When I looked at this, my first thought was, "Is her stunt double...a man?"

Yes Rob. You are mistaken. Mistaken that you would need a slow news day as a reason to post this. Having any doubt that this is the most worthy item for a post on any day is bad, and you should feel bad.

Isn't suntanning normally forbidden on a movie set to preserve shot continuity?
Aside from that... ah, the good old days. It's a pity they never talked Natalie Portman into wearing something like that in the prequels, as I'd bet that would have shut up most of the bitching....

MY GOD! Won't they think of continuity? The non-Fisher Leia is already redder then regular Fisher Leia

Whoever is closer to the camera is a man. He has a five-o'clock shadow, small breasts, hairy legs, wide thighs and a masculine face. This is not sexy.

Yep, it's a slow news day when a photo from 1983 (or was it 1982) gets posted to a site.
Sure, the photo is awesomely sexy, but it's been probably been on starwars.com's "Hyperspace" for ages. (That's the "Hyperspace" logo in the corner, by the way.)
I'm pretty sure this photo is also in photo gallery on the Star Wars Trilogy DVD, which came out years ago.
But, like NBC said when they showed repeats of their TV shows, "If you haven't seen it, then it's new to you".

You know, I recently saw her one-woman show at Studio 54 here in New York, which is hilarious. I'm surprised this didn't make it in during her Star Wars segment.
Regardless, what the hell took so long for this to appear? Did George Lucas have something to do with that delay? Wouldn't surprise me if that was the case.

Maybe it's the angle, But carrie looks a lot smaller than her stunt double, maybe it's the angle, or maybe they could not find any stunt woman her size but damn, she looks tiny by comparison.
