This Is Why You Rarely Find Vampires in Most Marketing Departments

So the new Twilight movie comes out today, and, in order to combat the plaque of sparkly vampires that are consuming the public consciousness, I wanted to focus on some other vampires... who are almost as goofy. Luckily, a new TV ad for Daybreakers -- that vampires-in-charge-of-the-world flick starring Willem Dafoe and Ethan Hawke -- was released this week.

Do I need to tell you how much I love the narration change from pleasant female professional to diabolical monster man? I wish all commercials did that. "Welcome to Shoney's... ENJOY THE BREAKFAST BAR." "I believe in Crystal Light... BECAUSE I BELIEVE IN ME." "It's a Mazda sales event... ZOOM ZOOM." Hell, the Twilight marketing team might want to look into this technique -- it's sure not going to make their movie any goofier.
