I found your sight 7 months ago and have been addicted ever since. I check it three times a day. I know you have worked hard on the new version of this sight, but I really, really, really miss the wonderful simplistic beauty of your old site. I will remain an avid reader. Please fix the bugs and drop the stuff on the sides.

I can honestly say that no amount of drinking has made his movies fun for me. I enjoy terrible, but not Uwe Boll terrible.

Dammit Germany. Stop giving him money. Why is this even getting released in the US? WHY?!?!

If you ask us so nicely...
We already did cut off his source of money. Since 2006, Investors in German-owned films can't write off 100% of their investment as a tax deduction. Far Cry must have been the last movie Boll could fund this way.
The pity is: most Boll movies are so bad its funny (not "So bad its good") But Far Cry is just plain boring. Even Gallons of beer couldn't make it even remotley entertaining.

I found out the secret a long time ago. You see Uwe Boll is technically Dr. Uwe Boll, and has a fair amount of money to him. So for the most part he can afford to produce his Own horrible celluloid garbage. And his movies do quite well in his Native Germany. So what we obviously need to do is start a fight between Boll and David Hasselhoff. The Germans like Boll, but they'll DIE for the Hoff... Hopefully they'll kill for him too..

Having had the misfortune of sitting through this movie I can highly recommend an evening of nostril hair grooming as being a better use of your time than watching this lame pathetic POS.

I think the worst part is that postal was fairly good. The only thing worse than someone making movies at his level of horrible, is knowing that trapped inside him is a person who could be creating something people would enjoy.

Is there a way that you could get a different copy of this trailer up? It just automatically redirected me to the IGN site.

Someone's going to see his crap:
In the Name of the King: A Dungeon Siege Tale: $4,775,656
BloodRayne:$2,405,420
Alone in the Dark: $5,178,569
House of the Dead: $10,249,719
House of the Dead broke $10MM. I wonder if Farcry will have a hot-chick-in-a-US-flag-jumpsuit in it?

Actually I find Uwe Boll's movies rather entertaining, however I don't watch them sober, and I'm from Poland, so maybe it counts for something in times of intoxication.

why doesn't anyone make a movie about the game Battleship, connect four, operation, or Life? Why do video games deserve all this attention? Compared to the many years that the above listed games have lasted video games are just a crumb that dropped from the cookie.

Gareth replied to telezombie:
Ummm, hate to break this to you. But the rights to a Battleship movie have been bought, and a screenplay for Monopoly is close to completion. No lie.

I remember crying while watching his version of Alone in the Dark. Not because it was scary, but because he butchered the game beyond recognition to the point where I considered building a time machine just so I can go back in time and stop that movie from ever being made. Why do people still lend him the rights to make movies based on their games?

Wasn't Boll's FarCry movie the one in which Anthony Bourdain had a cameo as a cannon-fodder scientist, filmed in his Vancouver "No Reservations"?

@Synonymous Yep, and it's officially the only thing worth waiting for in that god-awful, atrocious nonsense. I can't wait until game devs start suing this jerk-off for ruining their franchises.

A few years ago, Uwe Boll was at a in Philadelphia, PA. A mob of angry nerds soon formed. Uwe Boll had to leave because that angry mob of nerds wanted to gift him some angry words and fruit that was overly ripe.
