• When I was in school and the Return of the Jedi storybook came out through our school book club (slightly ahead of the movie), I was very happy to have purchased one, because there was a still of Leia that was lifted from clips that didn't make the movie. - It was this scene, but from a different angle than we saw in the movie, and it afforded my preteen eyes a perfect, lovely glimpse at Leia's cleavage. I'm sure I imagined it at the time, but I even thought I saw a little bit of her nipple in the still image. Either way, it was an awesome picture of boobies in the era before easy access on the Internet existed, and despite the fact that there was a big slug goggling his eyes and lolling his tongue in the picture, I was still suitably turned-on. Because it was some major cleavage, from the best angle possible, in a time when the best I could do otherwise would have been the JC Penny catalog. - Kids today have it easy. They can just google "Leia's tits" and get a million hits.

• This isn't half as creepy as a $235 statue of luke and leia kissing would be.

• no doubt a lot of star was fans who have to have everything will buy it mostly for seeing Lei in the slave out fit. though kind of disturbed that they pick the scene where she finaly frees herself from Jabba. and as much as i like the idea of finaly having slave Lei and Jabba together on merch sideshow could have usesed some other scene of jabba and lei.for that is a little creepy to me

• Furthermore, who cares if it isn't sexy? It's an awesome statue, and I don't buy things like that to get off anyway. I'm not a big enough Star Wars fan to throw down $225 for this, but I have to respect it.

The fact that it has Leia actually doing something instead of laying around being sexy is awesome. Besides, that scene made Leia one of the only decent female rolemodels of my childhood and may have singlehandedly turned me into the fan girl I am today.
