You realize it was straight to DVD, right? The only screenings I heard about were theaters that used the dvds.

Kind of disappointed, because before My Name Is Bruce ever even came out, they said that the sequel would be called My Name Is Still Bruce. Wish they had kept that. Oh well, more Bruce!!!

I think Bubba Nosferatu is still on the way... but with Ron Perlman taking over the role of Sebastian Haff.
Paul Giamatti has supposedly been a big supporter of the first flick and is trying to help get Bubba Nosferatu made. He's also rumored to have a role in the flick, too(Nosferatu/Dracula maybe?).

I would first like to say that I likes the Campbell a lot. However, anything he writes AND directs is so awful it's almost unwatchable. Who gives him money to do this crap? I would pay money for this sequal to be called I am Ted Raimi. And have Bruce play 10 million parts in it.

I agree with the original poster. the movie is unwatchable. I cannot get enough of Bruce, see Burn Notice, but he shouldn't direct. Please, please more jokes about your ex-wife and awkward drinking problems (not the funny Steve Martin type).

The first film wasn't GREAT, and possibly wasn't even GOOD, but it was a lot of fun, and I'm looking forward to this sequel. Bruce Campbell being Bruce Campbell is always worth a look.

I agree. I enjoyed the first My Name is Bruce a lot, but much in the same way that I enjoy watching the shitty VHS movies my friends and I used to make as kids.
It wasn't the story, the acting, the cinematography, or the effects that made the flick fun by any stretch of the imagination--it was just watching people have fun goofing off. I mean, Campbell filmed the entire thing in his backyard for crying out loud...
That being said, I loved the behind-the-scenes bonus features and commentary tracks far more than the actual movie.

hells yes, but I agee with some of the previous comments that Bruce Campbell: Vampire Hunter would kick far more ass(not to mention it would be incredibly cathartic for horror fans)
