.....But your not going to buy it because you own the system but refuse to actually play games because they involve movement, right ?

Your comment confuses me. This isn't for the Wii.

I didn't feel the first game needed to be expanded upon, but this sequel could prove me quite wrong. However, I don't feel any burning need to play this one, rental or no.
I think FPS hybrids peaked back when I met System Shock 2; nothing has managed to dethrone it for me so far.

I got mine a day early so I've been playing this since Monday. I say well worth the time waiting for this to come out. It's the little things that make it awesome, but being a seven foot plus Big Alpha Daddy is the glazed cherry on this monster cake.
p.s. The drill is awesome.

No need to be harsh. Just didn't get your joke is all. Still don't frankly. You can simmer down though, don't really care all that much.

Damn, tough crowd out there. Bioshock was one of my favorite games and I only recently graduated from playing it on friend's consoles to beating my very own copy.
Did the pre-order thing from Amazon so it should arrive at my door today. As much as I didn't think it needed a sequel Comic-Con trailers and general nostalgia pushed me toward it. Now, I'm excited as hell to swing that drill around!

I got the collector's edition. Even if the game sucks the extras and packaging are NIFTY.
Confession time - I never finished the first game.

I got the Collectors Edition as well, sat down and apparently the game is a time machine, because I hit a end of level screen and noticed it was dinner time.

I feel like a bad nerd now, everyone is talking about this and I haven't even played the fist one yet.
An unrelated video game note: Has anyone ever seen this pick?

If you're getting this at all, get the Special Edition, the Art Of book is worth the cost alone, especially for that New Book Smell, yummy! I'm especially thrilled with the vinyl having different content from the CD, and that in Canada you get bonus inserts all in scrumptious French language.
And the game, well, decide for yourself of course. So far, I'm delighted with it. And the Big Sisters are ample hotter under the water, under the sea. Like Cronenberg "Crash" hot but with 40's Deco sensibilities.
