The four kajillion of you guys who sent me this probably figured out that I was saving it for the end of the day; I mean, I love Star Wars and nerdy rap, but this is pretty special besides. Not only is it a pretty decent song by itself -- always a plus -- there's the following:
• Each original trilogy movie gets a verse
• Leia plays Max Rebo's piano thing
• Rebel pilots and Stormtroopers bust a few moves
• Leia's obvious but still funny DJ headphones
• Ewoks which somehow manage to be more disturbing that actual Ewoks
• Slave Leia
• "Daddy power activate."
If you want to check out the full lyrics, head here -- I highly recommend it. At the very least to take your mind off those Ewoks.

This Leia was hotter than Carrie Fisher today, ya but not Carrie back in the day. Besides Carrie had serious momma and daddy issues, booze'n and out of control. The best lays are always chicks with issues. Funny how you never see anything like this for Phantom Penis, etc. Let's just hope Lucas leaves well enough alone and just stops. Damn where is a Terminator when you need one? Send a T100 back in time to stop George from making Episode 1, 2 and 3.

Cripwoks. FTW.
-
they're both awesome, but here's a better link for the star wars gansta rap http://www.newgrounds.com/portal/view/174837
-
buy a new soundcard guys, your soundblaster from '92 ain't cutting it anymore.
-
I watched it for the Ewoks... and stayed for the Princess.
-
HA HA. IT'S FUNNY BECAUSE THEY TOOK ONE POPULAR THING AND COMBINED IT WITH ANOTHER POPULAR THING THAT'S TOTALLY UNRELATED! HA HA HA.
-
Oh... sorry then. And Wu Tang!
-
Oh? So you've done better?
-
It doesn't really make sense to say the video was ass and then critique the song it was based off of. It's a high-quality parody of the song, with lyrics that match and play off of the originals.
-
+1
-
How can you tell? He's wearing a mask.
-
I actually can't think of anything new on the radio that I would actually want to purchase. It's all been pretty shitty for the last 5 years or so.
-
No, i fucking hate current radio rap. that shit's just retarded. What I meant was more like rap/hip hop in the style of Dr. Dre, Snoop, Eminem, Outkast, Ludacris(at least his first couple of albums), Wu Tang, and anything that the Neptunes touch. Shit like most of Tupac's library where it's a fucking monologue with a servicable beat underneath it is entertaining when you can understand it, but it's not my thing. Jay-Z, Kanye-over rated and fucking boring. Nickelback? Fuck nickelback.
-
That was the best parody ive seen, my mom made my brother a better ewok costume for Halloween then the ones in the video
-
that was awesome. i had no trouble hearing and enjoying the lyrics. lol at those criticizing the song, especially when they obviously don't like rap music in general.
-
That's probably the best looking Leia I've ever seen. Oh lawd.
-
This made my day. "I can choke from anywhere"
-
That... was... FREAKIN AWESOME! AAAAAAAAAAAAAGHHHHHHHHHHHHGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHH! No! Why did I say that? WHY?! WHY DAMN YOU ALL!!!!
-
I felt a disturbance in the force.
-
Nah, the definitive Star Wars rap, if there is one, is "Fett's Vette" by MC Chris. The Machinema that was done with Star Wars Galaxies was epic.
-
I'd something something her darkside.
-
'Rap without a catchy hook and a groovable beat is just garbage.' And people like you are the reason the radio is filled with shitty rap where all you have is a hook and a beat. While we're here, I'll just fucking blame you for Nickelback too, because if you're stupid enough to just want a hook and a beat then why not the abysmal rock that gets played now as well?
-
I had the same problem. The video footage and dancing is great, the lyrics are good, and the refrain is sung well, but Vader's verses are so aggravatingly off that I had trouble paying attention to what he was saying. For a better nerd parody of "Empire State of Mind," I recommend JamesAtWar: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PMHZCXJfAW8

nice

Isn't anyone getting sick of Star Wars pandering besides me? Star Wars may as well be synonymous with "win a free Xbox!!" Nowadays. Family Guy only justified their pandering by completely dedicating themselves to it. And they actually made jokes. It wasn't "oh look it's star wars with something attached to it. Ahh, whatever. I'm bitter. Still dont like it
-
I got sick of this pretty fast. The definitive Star Wars rap is still this: http://www.atom.com/fun_games/gangsta_rap_se/
-
Well, since I find all rap to be loathsome garbage (and this instance even proves that "talking to the rhythm" doesn't always hold water when the rapper is apparently tone deaf), what I'd most enjoy is an edited version of this video. Either delete the rap segments entirely and leave the gal with the great set of pipes, or dub-over the talentless hack in the Vader mask with something humorous.
-
I also thought that Leia was hot.
-
Mmm, baby making music right there.
-
This was pretty good. I agree this Leia being hotter than Carrie.
-
Jesus. Wouldn't be a day on Topless Robot without the obligatory Star Wars Video, toy or product!
-
That was really well done.
-
no, the dude just took too many notes from Kanye and 50 cent-he's not opening his goddamn mouth.
-
This was ass. Like, fat marching band kid taking a shit and wiping with an egg-salad sandwich and sweating it out through a 100 degree, humid day ass. At least this Leia's body was way hotter than anything Carrie Fisher could ever offer up. Rap without a catchy hook and a groovable beat is just garbage. Also, I can't understand what the hell the dude's saying anyways, so it doesn't matter if I read the lyrics or not.
-
Maybe your soundcard just sucks. Sounded perfectly crisp to me.
-
RIP Moff Tarkin!
-
True it is
-
This would have been enjoyable had the audio tracks not been a shade off. Vader's rap was just slightly behind the instrumental track, and that ruined it for me. I know that sounds like a quibble for a humor piece, but parody right if you are going to parody at all.
-
right so the consensus is leia is smokin! she is Lindsey Liberatore. http://www.imdb.com/name/nm1050139/ http://www.newyorkyoga.com/index.php?content=instructors_lindseyl
-
Awesomely well done song parody I have to say.
-
They're not Ewoks, they're Cripwoks.
-
Vader is really short. It's the only thing that really bothered me. He's like a little kid.
-
Not really - the audio sucked and he is barely understandable.
-
The Leia in this video is massively sexy. Major hawtness.
-
other then the creepy looking ewoks dancing the thing was interesting liked how they turned Leai's doughnut hair do into head phones. plus vader rapping was good. though did not like where the actress playing Lei calls yoda a dylexic jedi.
-
" I got Lando on payroll" "Now Han's a coffee table, nothin' Luke can do. . ." Awesome.
-
"I might have liked it better if I'd understood the lyrics." Um, welcome to rap music?
-
Yeah, she's hotter than original Leia...
-
I might have liked it better if I'd understood the lyrics. Also, Leia's-hair-as-headphones was done a million times better in Space Balls.
-
The really great stuff is the play on lyrics from the original song - 'Rest in peace Moff Tarkin', 'I can choke from anywhere' etc.... :)
-
Most impressive.
-
Just click on the video, it has the lyrics in the description.
-
I like to think that dancing is actually how they celebrated at the end of Return of the Jedi. This is why I come on Topless Robot. Stuff like this thats puts an enormous smile on my face :D Keep up the good work, Rob (and College Humour, their stuff is generally pretty good but this was brilliant)
-
That was condensed awesome. I want the ringtone.
-
What he/she said. No linky, no clicky.
-
OK, I HATE Empire State of Mind with the passion of a thousand exploding Alderaans, but that was pretty damn good. And those Ewoks with their expressionless faces and soulless eyes are going to haunt my nightmares. o.o;
-
I like how the Leia singer is impersonating Leia but also parodying Alicia Keys' ridiculous butt thrusting that she does while playing the piano.
-
MMMMMMMMMMMMMMM Leia
-
This, with the exception of the quite horrifying Ewoks, is pretty awesome.
-
Head where?
