Many people have emailed me about the new Gorillaz video "Stylo" -- most notably Zac F. -- but it took me a while to find an embeddable version. Still, it had to be done; not only is there some incredible animation going on here (although the 3-D representations of Murdoc and 2-D are kind of terrifying), but also, uh... Bruce Willis... for some reason. You'd think Bruce Willis would have better things to do with his time, but, well, apparently not. Go figure.

maybe it is the soundtrack/vidoe to the Bruce Willes movie Cop Out..that would at least explain his why he is in it.

I believe it was Murdoc that introduced Bruce to Tracy Morgan and convinced the two to work together. I'd be angry too.

According to the story, Murdoc has been selling damaged guns and a lot of people are angry at him, I take it Bruce Willis is one of them. Also Noodle disappeared so Murdoc made a robot of her using some of her DNA.

Anyways, to everyone curious about Russel, he went to NYC after Demon Days to 'find his demons', and last time he was seen, he jumped off a dock into the ocean, presumably swimming to the new home of Gorillaz; Plastic Beach.

Nah, actually Bruce just does that whenever he's not making movies. One time he chased me down in the Mojave and forced me at gunpoint to tell him how much I loved Surrogates and I've never even seen that movie.

Didn't like it. Too little of the cartoon characters. Too much dull car chasing. And, ha ha ha, fat cops eat donuts!!! So clever!!! At least it was when the Bangles sang "Walk Like and Egyptian" in 1988. Oh, wait, it wasn't that clever then either.

Overall I thought it was okay.. I know its just an intro to the album, being the first video from Plastic Beach and all, but I thought it was a little lacking. Too much like 19-2000 perhaps? Idk... And I was a little dissapointed that Bruce Willis had to be in a video of theirs which wasnt tip top. Out of all the visually stunning videos Damon and Jamie has produced, this is probably the most boring. Confused about Russell and Noodle, too.
My predictions for their other big hits or singles from Plastic Beach: Plastic Beach, White Flag, Rhinestone Eyes, and maybe Superfast Jellyfish. Agreed?
