I... uh, wow. Questions: 1) Why are German variety shows so awesome? 2) How did she discover this unique talent? 3) She may be a nerd girl, but don't you think she'll be the most popular girl at the prom anyways? 4) Everyone else is super-turned on too, right? Not just me? (Via Geekologie)

I saw Han Solo and Leia what they did, that was terrifying. I mean it's a cool skill but I was scared seeing them go in her mouth and got a funny talent. She has a very pleasant voice. She is Very calm and pretty. It's amazing. http://www.mystarwarscostume.com/

Yea, that was hilarous, "Bobo Fet...?" *mom face palms* XD
-
Yeah, but the catfood-feet-girls failed, as I recall! But reading that I just had this weird image of Nicolas Cage in the Kick-Ass movie where he shoots his little girl with a gun in order for her to get used to the bullet-proof vest. Only now he's using LEGO figures.

Yes, we Germans do indeed wear suits well. Although I used to just toast my Star Wars figures with a lighter instead of putting them in my mouth. Ah well, Tommy Gotschalk (the host) has made a carreer out of bad suits, ridiculous bets, and inappropriate touching of his lady guests (not the underage ones, though). Some people have all the luck!
-
To answer the question how she came up with the idea of identifying lego figures with her mouth: I'm from Germany, i've seen the show. Before they started the bet, the host asked the girl the same question, and guess what: it was her dads idea! Getting weird ideas? His explanation was: On a past show there's been two girls who could identify 40 different sorts of cat food with their feet! Now the girls dad thought his daughter could do something like that too. So he trained her identifying lego figures with her mouth to be on the show...
-
Darn, I just you an email about this. Must check TR first, then send news... oh well.
-
If you would rather, then yes. Alternatively one could recognize it as 'You Bet!'.
-
Although, I should point I didn't actually watch the video. That just struck me as a funny line.

+1

So the gameshow is "What's in my Mouth?" I can play that anytime.

This is from the German Show "Wetten, dass..?" http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wetten,_dass..%3F People show up with some ridiculous skill, like this, or telling how charged a battery is by licking it, or building a card house on a train that is moving and changing engines, identifying birds by the feather based on touch alone, etc. Most people just realise that they can do something ridiculous and sign up, other people actually train some outrageous skill so they can end up on this show. If you win, you get some sort of prize. I haven't seen it in ages. It's gone from just the bets to also being semi talkshow - I remember Jennifer Lopez being on it and when she left, Gottshalk had her walk up the stairs be shown again in slowmo, it was beautiful. It's very successful and I'd bet it's the most successful thing we've ever had on the air, at least in Germany. I don't know if anyone has hosted a show for longer and he's been the "spokesperson" for Haribo for over a decade. He's also won a million for charity on Who wants to be a Millionaire, so he's not dumb either. Honestly, the show is popular because of its obscure bets.

When you say German version, do you mean original?
-
It's cause he's german. German's do suits well
-
Why is she sitting in Captain Kirks chair?
-
Wow that's Pedo-tastic!
-
I see what you did there.
-
...fuckin gameshow vore. And here I thought SW's was immune, save for the Sarlaac Pit jokes.
-
I am not necessarily aroused, more accurately intrigued. But she's 12, so what the fuck is wrong with me?
-
1)I applaud her strange, strange skill. 2)Looks like a German version of 'Wanna Bet?', so I suppose the skill is not that out of place. 3) Why is she sitting in the Captain's Chair from Star Trek: TOS? 4) I nominate that host guy to star in any future German versions of Doctor Who.
-
I like the hostess!
-
My dog used to eat my lego figures
-
Nice.
-
That was terrifying. I mean it's a cool skill but I was scared seeing them go in her mouth, all I could think was "what if she chokes on them?" Every time she laughed with one in her mouth I took in a sharp breath.
-
How did she find out this talent? What, you've never put Lego in your mouth before? I did it all the time as a kid.
-
Based on the hairpieces on Lego figures, you can tell a lot of the differences. The first one was the most impressive, since Han an older Luke, Obi-Wan and Tarkin all share a style (it's te most common hair piece among Lego period). However, the Leia figure is only in one set, and that hair is only on that fig. Same with Snowtroopers, they're the only one like that.
-
those would be easy to figure out,
-
I could do it
-
I have the same suit as the host. But I think he wears it better
-
This is a bit weird, but cool. The Force IS strong with this one...
-
So weird. What's weirder is the one she missed. I would imagine the others would be more difficult.
-
Yeah when this popped up on the RSS feed but was gone from the page, I assumed you realized the total inappropriateness of that comment and took it down. But then again, at the home of FFF, probably half the hits to the site are inappropriateness-based.
-
glad to see some one found a new use for Lego people. plus a rare and unique talent that no doubt will give that woman her fifteen minutes of fame. thankfuly she is careful enough to not swallow the Legos when she tests to see who is who
-
Uh...Rob she's 12?
-
Heh. She put Yoda Han Solo in her mouth. The dirty jokes just write themselves, don't they? What is she, like 12? Next up, the kid who can identify WoW figurines by shoving a remote control up his ass.
-
I wish the lady in the blue dress was the one sucking on figures...but who can be picky when it comes to something this delicious? Look how freaking upset that lady got when she missed the Snowtrooper!
-
YES turned on very. Han just shot first!
