It's a new Kick-Ass trailer. It actually has more new footage, and that new footage also looks great. I don't want to sound ungrateful here, but I think I've posted more Kick-Ass trailers than I did for Transformers 2, and unfortunately, I don't have anything shitty to say about Kick-Ass because everything about looks great. So please. Stop. Stop with the previews and trailers and TV spots and just fucking come out already. Your consistent entertainment value and apparent high quality is really getting annoying. Yeah it looks great, other then the shitty casting and that there is no way I can take McLovin seriously in his role, at all if you have read the comics you know why

Agreed, I read it sometime after the last trailer came out..was cool with the casting before..now? But at least it's something different for him. Take note Michael Cera.

McLovin-- I mean, Christopher Mintz-Plasse is totally believable in it. He's laughable, but also scary in his own way, just because of what he's willing to do.
Hell, I thought Nic Cage was going to be awful, but he turned out to be amazing. When he's Big Daddy, he wears mustache extensions and talks like Adam West.

Holy shit, I didn't even notice that it was the same guy... though really he could easily do red mist if he can pull of the 'twist'

I'm looking forward to this flick, and I haven't read any of the comics.

I saw it 2 weeks ago and can't wait to see it again. I was worried my hopes might be too high, but man,it delivered.
I don't usually go for the extreme slap stick ala Pineapple Express where slowly bleeding to death from getting shot in the belly is played for laughs, but Kick Ass pulls it off more often than not.
The movie is genuinely funny and the action scenes are amazing. It's brilliant pop movie making.

Do u know the rule: "a good book will make a bad movie, but a bad book can easy be an awesome movie"?
I enjoyed reading Kick-Ass, but it didn't shake my world. Despite I'm waiting for this movie like lil kid 4 x-mas. Even nick cage, who i hate, seems fit for me in this role.

I saw this movie last week.
I really thought the movie was better than the comics.
I really thought this would be another "Wanted", where i really liked the book, but so many changes were made in the movie that it was unreconizable.
This movie was the total opposite!
I cannot wait to see it again when it is officially released.

Seen it. It's enjoyable but they take some big liberties in the second half, which end up ruining the central message of the comic (that being a superhero sucks).

JOBSQUAD replied to Jared:
That's what I'm the most worried about!
I just finished the last issue of the (awesome) comic, and I REALLY doubt the ending of this movie is going to mirror the end of the book......

FadR replied to JOBSQUAD:
Yeah I'm pretty sure, Kick-Ass gets the Girl in the inevitable Happy End.

Megiddo replied to JOBSQUAD:
I've been told that many parts of the comic I enjoyed (Kick Ass not getting the girl, Big Daddy's origin story, etc) have been changed. So I'm... quite hesitant towards this movie. I'm still going to see it, but I don't like hearing that the things I really liked were changed so that the movie is more generic.

Thank God its rated "R" and not some stupid "PG-13" cop out, I hate when movie studios try to make violent movies safe for kids, kudos for making this film stick to the source material.

I agree.
The more I see of this movie, the less I feel it will be any good. I think its a stupid idea from the start, and now I'm even sort of glad Matthew Vaughn didn't direct X3. It just looks stupid, especially the cursing little girl.
