• I love the fact that the waitresses dress up in the pink White Base uniform, that's a nice touch. I want to go here so I can get drunk and do this. Bartender: Hey, bar's closing. Get up. *slap* Marioman: Not even my own father ever hit me before!

• The nerd in me loves the idea of this place but the designer in me hates the fucking logo/text treatment/signage. Its fucking terrible! Someone got paid a lot of money to do that shit and to me thats a fucking crime cause its terrible sophomoric horseshit.

• I hope there's more than Gundam-shaped taiyaki and coffee there.

• There used to be a Gundam Cafe inside the Gundam half of the Bandai museum in Matsudo, Chiba (right outside of Tokyo on the Joban line). Unfortunately, the food wasn't very good, but the museum was great! I think it eventually moved to Tochigi prefecture, but I haven't been there and have no idea if it has a Gundam Cafe.

• This is almost as great as the Friends-themed Central Perk they built in London that I didn't get round to visiting!

• I was one of the faceless people who suggested this. (I'm far too proud right now.) I'd love to hang around in there, but I get a sneaking suspicion that the prices would require me to sell my house in order to eat there.
