I wish I could think that this means they are considering doing more with the CT series....but I highly doubt it. Ever since I read an interview where someone at SE said the fans aren't buying enough, they can fuck off. How many time does someone have to buy the same damn shit.
-
Nice. Rob the main reason I liked CT over FFVII is that CT had a much more seamless gameplay style ahead of its time and has a lot of replay value. Now if only they could cash in on that and MAKE A SEQUEL ARGGHHHHHH.
-
I honestly paid $40 for a Frog keychain...so this is an instant pre-order from me.
-
As awesome as those look, I have this horrible feeling that they're only an inch tall. Just a guess, but since God hates me (I swear, I just fell on the crucifix and it got wedged there!), something has to be wrong with those, and that's the obvious thing. Or else radium paint.

Can I marry you? :O
-
FUCK! YES!
-
careful, she'll kick you to the curb unless you look like Mick Jagger
-
Chrono Cross doesn't count does it?
-
or a new release of the same Chrono game
-
I've been reading this website for a while and this is, no joke, the best news I have ever seen. I just orgasmed, shit my pants, and pissed in a hooker's mouth I'm so excited. I haven't owned action figures, toys, whatever, since I was 10, but I am going to buy these and cherish these, and build track lighting for these glorious, wonderful figures for as long as I live.
-
There's no Marle because they're all based on the art from the game and she wasn't in any of those images. She's in two others; the Crono-and-Marle-at-night scene and the Crono-Frog-and-Marle-fighting-the-Ice-Beast one.
-
Saw them a while back when they were first announced. They look nice, but I don't have the money to spare right now. That, and I never got that far in CT, since my friend still has my copy (I've only every played the DS version).
-
I want a sequel* to Chrono Trigger so bad, I'd even sleep with Ke$ha if that would convince Square and Akiro Toriyama to make it! *Chrono Cross doesn't count. Cross is to Trigger what Halloween 2 is to Halloween"
-
True, a new game set in the Chrono Trigger world would be very awesome
-
I whole-heartedly agree, with one caveat. I'd rather see another adventure with the original CT characters than something akin to CronoCross. I could never get into that game because I really just wanted to see the old crew, again. Of course, I could always just play my PS1 version of the game for the dozenth time. I guess.
-
Sold!* * Well, pre-ordered. But, radical!
-
:O :O :O :O :O I have no toys/figures/whatever-you-call-them at all (not really my thing), but I'll admit it's very tempting to get those. Chrono Trigger holds a very special place in my heart for being: a) My first RPG; b) The most polished Squaresoft game in my opinion (it was at its core a very simple, lighthearted, fun game, but it did what it set out to do extremely well and had practically no flaws); c) The only game that really IS just as good as I remember it to be (I play it once every couple of years more or less and it always measures up to my memories of it). d) And lastly, having what I consider to be the best cast out of any game I've ever played... And I'm a lazy bum, so I've played a hell of a lot of console and PC games over the years. Screw it, I'm gonna see if they can ship to Brazil.

MANIC BLINDING LOVE!
-
If I'm going to blow more money on Chrono Trigger (I already own the Playstation and DS versions of the game), I'd rather spend my cash on a SNES cartridge. Or better yet, a new game in the series. Square Enix needs to stop with the crappy Final Fantasy spin-offs and get cracking on some Chrono.
-
Actually, I don't know if this has ever been a contest before, but has Rob ever done one for a model we wish existed? Saying "toy" would pretty much come down to "working lightsaber" and be the end of the story.
-
Maybe they will make a new CT for the PS3 or 360
-
Wow. These = pure win smothered in awesome sauce.
-
Hell yeah, these look awesome. And I hope you're right about the action figures, those would rock.
-
With one of the pet names my husband have me being Lucca (yup, I'm a thick glasses nerdy girl), I'm pretty sure I'm in...even with these reeking of the PS1 cut scene art.
-
So... given that several folks are wondering WTF Marle?! What moment would you go with? My guess is they'd do Marle & Crono running into each other at the bell, but I'd prefer to see Marle & Crono on top of Death Mountain.
-
"I enjoy the game immensely, but I only have room in my heart of hearts for Final Fantasy VII" What? Are you a Time Lord now?
-
I NEED THESE IN MY LIFE!!!!! i love me some Trigger, and these would look good on my Entertainment center!
-
Man, I want the Lucca and Robo one so badly. Lucca is one of my favorite video game characters, ever. I wish I could be her, haha. It's kinda odd that they feature Robo twice, but not Marle at all. I mean, I would've wanted a "Twin Charm" figure...
-
I echo sentiments of those wishing for Marle - but my dismay is sated by my the sight of Lucca sitting atop the broken Robo. I must have :o
-
I... *pre-ordered* You know... the sad thing is, I'd have paid $40 for the Lucca / Robo.
-
Why isn't Marle in any of these? Yeah she's kind of annoying, but still she's one of the main characters! Schala would have been nice to see also.
-
I'd rather have a NEW game than a prettied up version of something I've already played that stands the test of time pretty well.
-
I really want these. They look great. One of my favorite RPG of all time!
-
I'll take that bet. I sincerely doubt Squenix would do something that awesome. This is one bet I hope I lose, though.
-
Hopefully, this means they're testing the waters for a new Chrono game.
-
Pretty good looking toys, still wish SE would do a Chrono Trigger remake, it's my second most wanted remake, just behind FFVI.
-
I've never even played Chrono Trigger, and yet I want those. They are very well made from initial appearances.
