Reminder: Scott Pilgrim’s Finest Hour Starts Any Minute Now

?The sixth and final volume of Bryan Lee O’Malley’s Scott Pilgrim comic comes out today. Well, at least it’s supposedly out on Amazon today; I assume comic shops are getting it tomorrow. Although I ordered my copy of Scott Pilgrim’s Finest Hour from Amazon and it still hasn’t shipped, meaning I’ll have left for SDCC before it arrives, meaning I’ll probably have to buy a copy at the con if I don’t want to get spoiled. Grr.
I’ve obviously talked a lot about my love for the Scott Pilgrim movie on TR, but the reason I’m so excited it that is seems to be such a wonderful, apt adaptation of a wonderful comic. I started SP for the videogame references and nostalgia, and I’ve ended up getting a wonderful, surprisingly complicated romance, and an honest look at that weird passage from early-20-something to actual adult. I’m sure it’s not for everybody, but man, it is for me. If you haven’t, I hope you give it a try. And if you have, you’d best grab Finest Hour as quick as you can.
