I know there were plenty of other parties at SDCC on Saturday night, but all I can say is if you missed the
Topless Robot-sponsored nerd burlesque show put on by the lovely ladies of Devil's Playground, and then the
TR Drink-Up held immediately afterward at the Tipsy Crow, you missed a helluva good time. I have proof, thanks to pics by the amazing Shannon Cottrell -- see plenty after the jump.
And now for the
Topless Robot party! It was cool -- by which I mean it was attended mostly by nerds, but there was functional air conditioning, which was a major improvement over last year's party. Drinks were drunk. Shirts were grabbed. And people
got the fuck down.
You know you've made it when Batman comes to your party. I'd like to thank everyone who came to either event, and especially Shannon Cottrell and LA Weekly's Liz Ohanesian, who made sure the party happened and was awesome.
