I have no idea why this MC Frontalot video -- a rap about the classic text game Zork -- is nearly a year old and only has 5000 views on YouTube, but that shit needs to be corrected immediately. Or we're all likely to be eaten by... you know. Thanks to WAH for the tip.

Zork FTW... I think about 20 of those views are mine, so I'm glad to see this video getting more exposure.
Zork was my first real video game experience outside of an arcade, so I'll always have a soft spot for it (although revisiting it, I have no idea how I used to figure out some of the more obscure puzzles).

Eh, subjectivity and all. But personally I love almost everything he's put out. I think secrets from the future was the best in terms of subject matter, and the most recent the best for actual musical performance.

I think they do share a few things. A feeling of being segregated from mainstream culture, and a strong sense of attachment to a particular subculture.

It's probably because the song isn't very listenable. At least, that's how I found it. I did like the shoutout to the Hitchhiker's Guide game, but that was about it, because I don't like his style. My favorite nerd rapper is probably always going to be MC Lars, but that's just, like, my opinion, man.
